Forza GT Series

Subject: Forza GT Series Sat Dec 03, 2011 4:23 am

I'm looking at starting a GT 2 Series. Once the post is approved and posted on the Forza Forums I'll post the link here for those who would like to know the basic infomation. If this series gets enough interest then I will proceed to make a forum in order to keep everything in line and organized. Hope to see some of you guys sign up. And I'm looking to do this on Wednesday nights around 8 PM PST/ 11 PM EST. Post any questions, comments, or concerns here. Thanks

I hope this takes off,

but as for me being part of 2-3 different series is at my limit, and racing at 11pm est is too late for me (as for the fact that wouldn't be able to make the races due to club activites.)

Well the time is always adjustable, that's not set in stone. And starting within the next 4 weeks is me being optimistic on the turn out lol. But I'm willing to adjust the time and schedule to cater to the drivers if its at all possible.

None taken.
Only did that once. Forza 4 is new so I wanted more opportunity to view replay footage to get a better grasp on driver and PI.

I've had plenty of racers show interest in doing this but no one has registered yet. If I can get at least 8 racers to fully commit I'll start the series and hope to bring in more drivers as the season goes on. I'm looking to make this a permanent season so please, if you're interested go register on the forum site so we can get this thing underway. And since we will be the first drivers participating in this series, all rules will be subject to change, so that they fit well with drivers and the season as a whole.

Tentative Start Date Jan. 3rd. If this date is ok with everyone let me know. And new change to the rules, Drag Tires will be used and are required!!!!!

Because I'm taking out the pit window since drag tires wear faster. Making pits more strategic. This theory has been tested and although it will make most ppls lap times 1 to 2 seconds slower overall, should kep the intensity of racing up duue to the amount of times a car will have to pit. But obviously if this seems to extreme, which we'll find out on the inaugural race in a few weeks I will change the rule.

The Forza GT Series Season 1 is about to start so any drivers interested, who haven't already done so, please go to www.fgts.freeforums.org to register. Some of the rules will be changing before the first inagural race but the schedule is set in stone. PM me if you have any questions.
