| I have been practicing at the alps for a few days now and my car (911 sport classic) has been having terrible understeer in the left turn after the long down hill run. I was watching my telemetry in a replay and I found something very odd. At the apex of that left hander the INSIDE of my RIGHT front was getting hotter then the outside. It's only been doing in that turn no where else. Now, i'm no tuning expert but I do know some things and one of those things is that in a left turn the outside of the right tire should get hotter then the inside. I have about -0.7 degrees of camber in my front tires but according to the telemetry when I go through that turn my right front is reading up to -3.0 degrees. Is the same on the left front, the OUTSIDE of the left front tire is getting hotter then the inside. I don't understand what's going on. Basically the tires are heating up as if their going around a right turn when their actually going left. Maybe its just the porsche's lack of weight at the front or a bug in the porsche car pack but if anyone can help I would really appreciate it. I can send anyone the replay to see for your self what i'm talking about. | |

| that does sound weird, it could be because of a lack of weight on the front tires but it could explain why all the porsche drivers have been complaining of a drop of pace on long runs. | |

| It's the game not the car the Martin and the boss 302 and other cars I have tested do the same thing. I'm not sure all of the cars do it though | |

| The rule of thumb for camber is that if you watch your telemetry and see at any point during a lap that the car shows positive camber you should increase negative camber.
Ideally your tires would be roughly 10 degrees hotter, on average, on the inside when compared to the outside.
As you said though this is Forza. Without independent wheel settings you are never going to get it perfect.

| IMO, the Porsche needs more camber up front than other cars. Even at real races the Porsche's always seem to have more front camber than other race cars by a noticeable amount.
Try increasing your camber to 1.2 or more. IRL they run 2.0 + easily. I have my real street car set at 1.2 and My Game Ferrari set at .9 up front on both.

| He said when turning left the inside of the right tire is getting hot which is the tire that has the load. The outside of the right tire should start to heat up when turning left. The game has a coding error or something. | |

| I have been having the same issue with the 00 cobra I am driving, after 3 laps my front right tire is melting off the car due to that one corner. I tried adding and taking away camber but it seems to be unavoidable. However even with tire temps averaging out at about 270 (the other 3 are at 180 even all the way across) and tire pressures going through the roof on that one tire the car seems not to take any handling degradation | |

| Its the game fellas. All cars will have that issue in that corner. Its only that turn. For some reason turn 10 ha the outside tire carry negative camber and the inside carry positive through that turn. Nothing to worry about and the tires will be fine. I noticed it last season in the zonda and still in the vette for this season. There is secret to taking that turn at incredible speed. If you see me on just send me an invite. I would be glad to help you guys out. | |
