Starting the second half of The Forza Sports Car Series run to the championship is perhaps the most famous track in Japan, Suzuka is also one of the oldest. Suzuka International Racing Course (鈴鹿サーキット Suzuka Sākitto), Suzuka Circuit for short, is a motorsport race track located in Ino, Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture, Japan and operated by Mobilityland Corporation, the subsidiary of Honda Motor Co., Ltd.Designed as a Honda test track in 1962 by John Hugenholtz, Suzuka is one of few circuits in the world to have a "figure 8" layout, with the back straight passing over the front section by means of an overpass.Suzuka is a challenging 3.6 mile course, with a final chicane in the Casino Triangle area that was the scene of a famous on-track flip (and off-track controversy) between Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost in 1988, and a dangerous pair of large-radius turns known as Spoon Curve and 130R (i.e., 130 meter radius). There is also a difficult series of S-curves (turns 3 through 7) to test your car's composure in transition. Spoon was redesigned in 2002 to be safer, and the Casino Triangle chicane has been revised several times over the years to control speeds going into the final straight and pit lane underneath the famous amusement park carousel. One of the best places to pass is the final chicane, but miss your braking point and you'll find yourself in the service road.

sadly cannot take part in tonights race I have first day of final year of university and I will have to up by 7am to be their on time.

I do not think me being shattered on my 1st day is a good impression (races for me normally end at around 3am which just cannot do for this race)

(I will admit Le Mans was a combination of cba and too tired from having a crazy weekend and work in the morning)

Nope sunset is nice and dark. late afternoon is when the sun is right in your eyes.

just hit a dirty time that was faster than my qual (shouldnt have been... the double left before the back straight i tapped the rumble strip and it called it dirty ) i just gained about a half second to 3/4th second out of no where. i should have waited to qualify.

poor qual for me but i have a good car and am excited for this race, this was my first track i raced at in this series 3-4 seasons ago and the first time weve been back since so im hoping for a good finish. see you all in a few hours! time to watch the dover race

darn, I thought I would be home in time to get a qual time in. Oh well, see how many spots I can make up.

Qualifying is CLOOOOOOSE! I know a couple in GT that were consistently 1/2 second or more faster during practice race after race but had a poor qualifying session. I think this race is gonna be another epic race in GT and GTC. I am happy with the state of the series and the closeness of competition.

Awww that bites man, i held down the fort though and qualified decently. Lets see these Falken Porsche's get their best combined finish yet.

This is the smallest field since Season 1 with only 28 racers qualifying. 15 GT and only 13 GTC! Lots of vacationers, personal issues pulling people out, School, life...etc.

pretty good race in b room, drove from the back to the lead. Oh, and apparently GLR Roca is my teammate, I learned that in the loading screen.

We needed a third and i have been looking, his team ditched him so why not have him aboard, i thought i sent you a xbl message about this twice . Sorry bud, but i cant see how there would be any complaints .

Well that went well for me. Could have and should have been better though... I caught up to the pack of skinley hired and gambit all of 4-5 times and i ran batches of 6-8 laps .5 seconds faster but i always had something happen. Be it GT passers, cold tires, running wide, or getting lose i always would lose a second everytime i got within 150-200ft og hired. Well maybe ill take him next time. what sucks is that im confident that i could have managed my way around all three of them if i didnt lose the time i kept gaining.. gaining 3 seconds 4 times = 12 seconds... which is about how much i missed out on them by. what a pity. still good race all. see you next week.

Btw i cant believe i hit 2 8.6's in a row and then an 8.7. 3rd fastest lap in the room. the highlight of my race.

I have already watched the Replay for A room twice already. Great Start for GT and GTC. Great racing across the whole room. There were some mid race incidents that have already been addressed and will be handled as per the rules. Other than that. Great close racing.

EDIT: Oh and SSRT DWilkerson - ohhhh how I wish we could have finished those last 7 or 8 laps of that battle! (you lagging into your own room on lap 37 sucked ) You said you were gonna fight to hold on and keep me behind you. I say I was going to take the battle to you corner after corner lap after lap and if on the last two laps we are still bumper to bumper, it might have gotten a bit hairy for a Viper and Ferrari! Overall, that was an damn good 45 laps!

I would jus like to report that on lap 31 I was rear ended off the track by NoBrakes. He said he missed his breaking point.
