| My Forza 4 had gotten cracked by my xbox a while ago, i only noticed it about 3 weeks ago and the crack has been creeping up the disc. the game is finally broken/life support. it loads up no prob but freezes in the different menus (upgrade and car selection). ill still make the race but ill have to eat another 50 bucks for another copy. > . however i might (i think i id) get a warranty on the game but i deff dont have the receipt anymore. (Gamestop) does anyone know if i need that receipt? | |

| Rent a copy and save it to your hard drive. As long as the box reads that it is a forza game it should start up and play fine. Once the game starts the disc don't even spin. This is a possible solution | |

| Do what I did. Go rent a copy from your local rental place, keep their copy and return yours. The games old enough now no one ever rents it. Easy. | |

I thought about that but i had to open up my old 20g hdd from my white xbox and take off the grey casing to get it onto my new black arcade 4g xbox i only have 19 total gigs avalible when both are totally dumped and only about 9 right now sread over the two hdd's idk how well it would fit but im thinking about it. and the idea about the walmart/gamestop switcher-roo i was sorta thinking about that but im glad that im not the only one thinking that would work. Side note- does anyone else that has good vision ever have their eyes feel weird while reading these forums, i almost see like im partially cross eyed (slight double vision) when im on these forums | |

| Well i made the 7.6 gigs of space i needed and downloaded it. The game boot and works the it will at some random point say that the disc is unauthorized and restart my xbox. weird because if i get lucky and buff the heck out of the disc i can get it to work without the download. grrr. i really didnt want to have to go and do all that other stuff lmao | |

| I'm telling you man. Cheap and simple to just rob it from the rental place. Mine did something similar and I just put my disk in their box and returned it. Didn't even say it didn't work. Just dropped it in the box and peaced. | |

| The same became of my COD: Black Ops disc. However, by the time it broke, I had become bored of it. Once I received a bigger hard drive, I installed all of my games to it. I only keep about 2 or 3 games at a time, so it isn't an issue. The rest of them usually get sold to Gamestop for a quick buck or two, but ONLY if I no longer have any desire to play them. | |
