| Very excited about Porsche going back to Lemans in prototype form. It's unlikely they go back to F1 and i think it's a bad move if they do. | |

| i read in a few articles that they said that they would either do lmp1 or f1 and that they would tlak to audi about it. something about it being a waste for them to both be in the same class. althought that was a while ago and ihave heard more and more about them releasing their car in mid 2013. i have also heard that they might be an engine supplier for f1. | |

| pretty much the F1 move won't happen, Audi was going to join Formula One but chose against it because of the costs involved in developing an engine (they were going to be purely an engine supplier). | |

But now i have only heard about lmp1 and all the talk of f1 has disappeared. the only sports I know VW group are introducing cars to is Volkswagen Polo is joining the WRC and Bentley are going to be running in a Bentley Continental V8 GT3 racing car (i.e. same class as the Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Ferrari 458, Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and Porsche 911's) WRC is going to be the interesting one to see what happens because Red Bull have taken over the advertising for it (because Sebestian loeb has finally left after winning 9 times in a row) so you should see more manufactures joining it now

and everyone has heard about porsches lmp1 resurgence by now i think. mid 2013 is the release of the car, and they hope to compete by 2014. I doubt Red Bull will leave Renault/Nissan/Infiniti because Renault etc are very big sponsors for them and Audi have already said no to Formula One. (Renault/Nissan/Infiniti will do anything to stay with Red Bull considering how strong they have been) but if the rumours are true Honda are returning in 2014 as an F1 engine supplier and will be in the McLaren F1 cars (McLaren from 2013 will have to pay for the Mercedes Benz engines and the deal has the option to last till 2015). and Honda have not been denying interest in joining F1 again and said as well that the rule changes are making them interested in joining but it would only be an engine supplier considering whenever an engine supplier becomes a racing team rarely works. their is opportunity for a new engine supplier but we just have to see who because McLaren has been hunting for a new engine supplier just to see who decides to take up McLaren offer of being their engine supplier. Honda interview hinting at possible 2014 F1 http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/f1-2012/honda-admits-renewed-f1-interestsupporting possible Porsche or Honda joining F1 http://www.yallaf1.com/2012/10/22/mclaren-hunting-new-engine-partner-to-replace-mercedes/
