For the halfway point of the season The Forza Sports Car Series travels to the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe in France. Top speed heaven! It is obvious that this track puts a premium on top speed so it can be said with certainty that this track will display the highest sustained speeds drivers will see on any track during the season. With such a rich history of racing this track will undoubtedly stir excitement with many racers and fans alike. This race marks the halfway point of the season and thus the racers of the series begin to eyball the run to the championship. Some will look at their first half results and be content and other will not. Some will focus, get determined to improve and try to make a run if not for the Championship but to snag that points position in front of them. The second half is where Champions are made! Where will you be at the end?

Yep. The ST race is 30 laps vs 25 and yes there is a mandatory pit as specified in the initial race post.

The qualifying for GT/GS will be held to a STRICT STANDARD. Any racer who has not qualified with a room host or series official by 12:00 Sunday the 10th will start from the back of the field for the respective class entered.

Are there specific officials? Just remember u saying that 3 officials will be looking at the cars before the race is why I ask.

And we have a 7 lap qual session at Le Mans?

The specific officals are TyrannicCymbals, XMan4299, KikRox268 (source, series officials list)

you do not have to worry about anything just follow the rules, i.e. do not go over the power limit and do not adjust your cars upgrades between qualifying, race day and do not adjust cars upgrades when no PI adjustment been given. (obviously your allowed to tweak your tune between races and qualifying and race day)

and from what pred has said on the 1st page yes it is seven laps.

I'm glad its not 50 laps at Maple either, I wasn't going to race if it was 50 laps. I always flip on Maple so this should be interesting. I think a ST race on Le Mans would have been awesome though.

Why is Le Mans 7 laps to qualify...i thought it was 4 or 5 for the pass few season. I think 7 laps qualify is too long for Le Mans

As for 50 laps of lemans, i say yes! But id suggest not having a ST race that week and starting the GT/GS race at the ST time so that we arnt racing even later into the night
