well I will say what it is because Lola did not make that many cars anyway so it would not take long to find it out. Its a Mk6 and is actually the Ford GT40 (or at least what the ford GT40 is underneath) and even ran with a Ford V8 inside before Ford took an interest in the car and used it as the basis for the Ford GT40 (Ford even paid Lola to stop working) and the designers worked with a guy called Roy Lunn created the Ford GT40. But this Lola Mk6 is very much an unsung hero thanks to Ford hiding the fact that the Ford GT40 is actually a Lola underneath with tweaks to the chassis and design. all what Carroll Shelby did was fit a bigger engine pretty much (sorry to say that). This car also did compete at Le Mans but did get a DNF because they geared the car up wrong for the mulsanne straight and caused them to wreck the engine (they were 5th at one point) however Ford did consider the Lola Mk6 ahead of its time. | |

| The very first gt40 model was CRAP. It wasnt until shelby took it and fixed it that it became the car we know today. | |

| The British part has me puzzled. The red clue pushed me towards Ferrari? Ferrari isn't British but red is Ferrari. So is it red, British, or both red and British? I can't think of a British company that is as red as Ferrari. | |

| My turn: Built in the 60's, this car did well in competition and broke several speed records, reaching a top speed of around 150mph. | |

| that is the rare and surprisingly pretty Russian ZIL-112 S. Looks a lot like a cobra from the back too has a 6 or 7 litre V8 producing a maximum of 270 BHP. The engine and transmission were from a 'luxury' sedan from the same brand and half the suspension was from a rather less luxury sedan from another Russian make (Volga). It won the 1965 Soviet Championship.
BOOM! | |

| Looking more closely at it...It looks more Lamborghini-ish than Ferrari though. Especially by the hood shape. Probably neither name brand though. Whatever it is...it is butt arse ugly! | |

| Well, it clearly looks like a Ferrari badge on the back. Yes the Coupe does look better. Kinda a cross between an MR2 a Lotus Espirit. I am commenting but have no idea really.

| Well, after some research I know now what the name make and model is. But yet somehow I still don't know. I have NEVER heard of this car before. This one 'to me' is truly the most OBSCURE car posted in this thread so far. What the hell? Where the hell? Did that come from?! | |
