Race 10 Road America 45 Laps

July 10th 4pm. PST - Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, USA
One of the premier Road Courses in America. There may not be a track in North America that stirs the senses like Road America. With it’s 4.08-mile, 14-turn circuit, this track demands complete focus as the cars wind their way through Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine at record speeds. With points being at a premium as drivers and teams begin eying the championship it is surely set to be a hotly contested race. Batten down the hatches and prepare for an exciting race.

We are Officially at the mid point of the season having raced 9 races and 9 races to go! The points battle is fierce not only for the individual racers but for the teams also. The Porsche has been the most dominant car for the first half of the season with 5 wins out of 9 races. Who will bring the challenge to them?!

WE NEED AS MANY RACERS AS POSSIBLE TO SAVE THE RACE AND QUALIFYING ROOM SET UPS JUST IN CASE WE NEED AN EXTRA ROOM HOST OR TWO.

WITH THIS MANY RACERS THE BURDEN OF TIME IS ON THE RACER. WE CANNOT HOLD THE WHOLE OF EVERYONE UP IF YOU ARE LATE! BE ON TIME AND IN THE RIGHT ROOM OR BE LEFT OUT!!

won't be able to put in a pre-race this weekend, some of my co-workers and I are taking a little "vacation time" this weekend

This is one of my favorite tracks too, sad to miss it though

Today is the day for some racing. Judging by the practice sessions the racing is gingko be close and fierce. Controversy is highly likely.

You cant compete?

You have 2 first place finishes, you were in first place points for the first half of the season. What it appears to me is when its easy you are all in, but when the challenge comes and you have to work at it.... you quit.

It is up to you what you choose to do...But I will tell you that if you quit now because its harder for you then....well.....As admin i will keep my complete opinion to myself. However I think your old enough to understand what I am getting at.

This is not a jab or anything. But you had a choice of all the same cars...you chose the car and won races with the car. (and could have won another couple....Sedona club .120 from first place finish as example...

The racing is the closest it has ever been. It is not easy for anyone.

how about you go build a spyker to 694 and beat my personal best for the week of 2:02.7 and tell me i'm not tuning my ass off predator.

because if i'm slow it's obvious i'm just not trying hard enough. It can't be the car or pi right?

I have never lagged out of room this entire Season and as much as everyone says well you don't have to deal with Traffic. I would say I was leading from the start and was almost 400 feet ahead of Gdub when I lagged out.". I'm sure it would have been a good race till the end and I guess we will never know. Cause when no one else is in the room you don't push yourself as hard. Now have to get ready for the next race. See you guys during Practise time.

Also I have to give a hats off the Bimmer who made a suggestion to me which allowed me to cut my time off by 1sec...Thanks Bimmer

That's my point exactly...Your fastest lap is faster than nearly everyone and is definitely competitive. So you can skip the slow talk. PrOnebird I am seriously trying to understand you and I know the Spyker is not an easy car to tune. But it is fast and it is competitive. The racing in the Forza Sports Car Series is now ultra close and that is exactly what its all about. Now there is no easy win out there and the challenge is there not only for you but for everyone. I don't want you to quit simply because you have to tune your ass off or drive your ass off...because literally everyone has to tune and drive there ass off. I want you to get in the trenches and join the fight.

i cannot stress it enough that qualifying times to not show how close or far apart a race is predator.

The ones that I am supposed to be in competition with were running low 2s. I could not even dream of touching those times. that 2.7 was a nearly perfect lap save a tenth and I cannot run a perfect lap every lap. I AM fighting for every tenth I can squeeze out of this car.

I seriously question if you are looking at times beyond qualifying.

I look at the race, actually as 95% of the equation. Qualifying is minimal but does show potential. So, as always I review adjust and we race. You jumping to conclusions and wanting to quit is what I don't think you should do. But it is your choice.

The frustration from tuning so hard only to have my times blown out of the water by those i am supposed to be competing with is killing any will I have to want to try.

Thanks Pred. If I wasn't catching up on the past FWC GT season I would probably make videos here, but I've only done 3/10 videos.

I can understand why no one is jumping to make videos, it takes HOURS just to upload them, let alone making the video it self. It's not for people whom don't have a lot of free time nor patience.

actually I upload them all at once to a flash drive so that takes about 5 minutes. but i dont really have time to sit there and go through 3 or 4 different replays trying to find footage.

ok brad, time to stay in for most of the week and save some money... now to ocupy my self, send me the replays people you know what to do
