I understand how you have to be aware of other races and such, but it is a completely different way of racing with the AI. Forzas AI is absolutely horrible, so bad that I haven't bothered going past season 5-6.
There is supposed to be some give and take, but with the AI they do not give at all, I can see this being extremely problematic when it comes up to passing the lower class cars. The AI drive down the middle of the track on most all places. This can make it really hard to pass. Road America would be one thing with it being wider than most, but I would hate to imagine trying to pass AI at Camino. I can see getting stuck behind a lower class car being a huge problem because of how narrow the track is, I'd hate to get trapped behind a GTC car for 1/4th of a lap costing a large amount of time.
Understanding "rubbins racin" I would imagine (have not even raced once in the series yet) that this being a endurance style race that most people will try as hard as they can to keep their cars clean for at least the first 9/10ths of a race. The AI dont. For them it doesn't matter.
AI on professional is not nearly as bad as rookie, but it really is not much better. Granted they are not breaking hundreds of feet early like the rookie. But it still sucks majorly how the AI works. They have no problem getting into your quarterfender into a turn or pushing you off the edge of a track while driving down the middle of it instead of giving you the extra couple of inches.
Just wanted to throw out my opinion. I completely agree with having to observe pay attention and time your moves in racing. But it does not help with the AI nearly as much as we could wish.
