SEASON X RACE 7 Le Mans GT/GS 25 Laps ST 10 Laps

All is well here! I'm watching the LeMans race as well... Can't believe the Aston driver died... Just means every driver going through that corner was just an over correction away from death, crazy how quickly it can all be taken away...

I've missed that having to do stuff around the house. That's horrible. =/

Yeah, that was tragic. The incident did not look that serious or tragic.  It was a hard hit but not fatal.  Crazy how quickly and early it happened.
 Race is very interesting though.

i think oddball said that from what he as reading he was still conscious when they took him out the car.

You guys see the new delta wing? closed cockpit and they got rid of the side mirrors. much nicer and sleeker design.

I believe the car broke through the barrier and came in contact with a tree... Tree's don't know how to play nicely... He didn't die on the scene, but later in the hospital I believe... Either way, it's just tragic.

That car was at the Grand-Am race at Road Atlanta a few months ago. Saw it then.  Sucks about the Aston driver, the tree was definitely the cause. Makes me think of the Webber incident for Mercedes many years ago when he went flipping into the trees

to be honest though bimmer, as a track worker i can tell you that the official report is always that the driver died away from the track because otherwise the race must be stopped. i know that with attempted resuscitations etc he will perhaps not have been pronounced dead until off the track but i for one feel he probably died on impact. On a personal note i met Allan on a few occasions and saw him race in person many times, he was a great guy and an incredible driver, i've seen him beat the likes of Richard Westbrook and Nick Tandy out on the track in a straight battle, truely one of the best GT drivers i've ever seen, i for one will be raising a glass to him tonight.

i know that a lot of guys say that the racing vettes are super loud, well the announcers for eurosport said that when they go by they rattle the windows of their sound reduced/proofed booth.

Roscoe! Lol all is well here bro, i'm not sure about my return... Kinda lost the hard drive to my box and with that all motivation to play. Even though i know a handful of people around here have my tunes and paint etc... Just haven't had the motivation to play xbox at all in a few months, but who knows maybe ill get the bug back?

I don't understand the splits in GS. Does my time count differently because I am pre-racing so the latter splits don't take it in to account?
