Season 6 Race 9 Maple Valley Raceway (50 Laps)

Sunday January 15th 5pm PST- Maple Valley Washington USA
For the fifth time the Forza Sports Car Series travels to the beautiful wilderness of Maple Valley Washington. However since our racers have last raced here the owner has reworked and improved the facility by adding a new covered bridge and new track pavement. This track flows like the many lakes and rivers surrounded by it. The racers will be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery off track and a variety of fast and slow corners on the track. This is a spectators dream as well as a drivers favorite.

Times should be about 27, 28 for A room.

I think 1 maybe 2 will be in 7's. 2-4 will be in the 28's. the rest of a room will be 29's and 30's. It's gonna be very close margins. Every tenth is gonna be critical.

And that qualifying being so close every race is a testament to how flawed the PI system is. Ummm hmmm.

Xman some things can only be understood once experienced from the other end of the spectrum... Is all i can really say about your suggestion. No one is really mad here. Frustrated would be a better word. I've had my arguments but at the end of the day its racing, everybody with a chance of winning wants to win, but the vets around here know who is fast enough to be winning and who shouldn't be. And being beaten by someone who we know isn't actually fast enough to beat us, and in a perfect world where all things were equal wouldn't have a chance. But at the end of the day, all it comes down to is that's not how this series was designed i guess and you deal with it. So you do the best you can but it is still racing, so as long as you aren't winning (especially when knowing you are fully capable of doing so) there will be frustration because that is exactly what everyone here wants to do... Win

I understand. I have been on that spectrum in NASCAR leagues. I know you are good. Since I started driving the ruf, I try to watch your telemetry in practice. Even with more pi, I cannot replicate your gearing, handling and such! And trust me, I am trying to! I always saw pi adjustments, in my other leagues, as a way to assist the new drivers into the competition. As they got better, the pi slowly went downward toward our base no assists and such. I did not mean anything with the statement, just backing up what pred said was the judgement behind pi adjustment.

In my new league, no build changes was one of the main reasons I chose that series up replicate. Then I won't have that headache. Driver skill all the way (or better suspension tuner!).

I know you will get one this year, as well as the title! So keep it up. Consistency wins championships!

The complaints are justified because you pronebird want them to be justified from YOUR perspective. I have never denied what you are complaining about. What I am saying is that it is not going to change. That is how THIS series works to create parity of the field. It's that simple. Some series run cookie cutter cars that are all exact. This is not that series. Some series just have a cut and dry 15 pt PI adjustment for the winner and 12 for second on down no matter what happens. So if you win 2 races you dropped 30PI. That doesn't sound like rewarding the faster guys to me at all. Now does it. But then again this is not THAT series either. THIS is the Forza Sports Car Series and the rules are posted and are not going to change just because you do not agree with them. The PI system is going to remain as it has and will be. Can there be small adjustments to the rule package as we grow...of course but the premise and design of THIS series will remain consistent to how I visioned it when I created it.

I left a series because I did not agree with how it was ran and their PI system I left and did not moan and groan, complain childishly over and over with vigorous accusations calling names and speaking negatively over and over. I did my races and enjoyed it and left. Somehow you pronebird have joined this series from THAT series and have decided you want it to be how you want it. Well, its' not. SO all the complaining in the world IS NOT going to make this series like THAT series or how YOU want it. Now you can either shut up and race in this series with these rules, go back to your other series with those rules, or create your own series with your own rules. But what I WILL NOT ALLOW ANY LONGER is for you to negatively impact the morale of this series.

This series has grown EVERY SEASON...EVERY SEASON...That means it is successful with how it works. NO I don't ask those who join to like how the system works. Just accept it and race since these are the rules of this series. If not its a free world, and you have choices. Some have left and have not come back. Others have left and returned because they saw the value and competition of THIS series to be better than where they were.

So I WILL delete the shit talking and negative trash coming from you and anyone else who starts down that path. If there is a problem or question or complaint then PM it to me. NOT a public bash session because you or someone else is not happy with how the PI was adjusted or a rule infraction that they feel was handled improperly. I will look and review things if someone thinks there has been a mistake and I have made them and corrected them. Others have remained. There is NO PERFECT WORLD. You have to die to find that.

Your apology is accepted. You should try to race. If during the pre race practice session there is lag you pre race. If not you race in your appropriate room.

there's always lag in the main rooms no matter how good qualifying or other lobbies are it seems. that's why i tried to race last time because there seemed to be none during the day or qualifying but when i got into the actual lobby everything hit the fan :/
