Located about 90 miles north of Tokyo and nestled in the foothills of the Hakko mountains, Twin Ring Motegi opened in 1997. It was the idea of Japanese executives who had seen a NASCAR race and liked how you could see the whole track from anywhere in the grandstands. Honda wanted a world-class road course, thus, the "Twin Ring" concept was born. Construction of Twin Ring Motegi became the largest private construction project in Japan up to that point. The road course's combination of long straights and tight hairpins make for great racing action with plenty of places to test your nerve at outbraking and overtaking opponents.

Immediately After Twin Ring Motegi - Montserrat, Spain
In the shadows of the rocky peaks of Monserrat, Iberian International Circuit is 1.49 miles of grand prix style racing that requires a fluid style to successfully navigate the fast and flowing course. With less extreme elevation change and a wider ribbon than the related Camino Viejo de Monserrat course, Iberian allows drivers to concentrate fully on the stiff competition while still perfecting their technique. That being said, there are a few places on Iberian where a very fast car can catch air, so tune suspension and downforce accordingly. One of Iberian's greatest traits is its flexibility—it provides exciting and rewarding racing action for nearly any type of car, testing the limits of everything from humble city cars to the fastest Le Mans prototypes, which can achieve speeds in excess of 170 mph on the course's back straight.

Winner of these two events will get a Forza Sports Car Series Special T-Shirt
Points will be totaled up for both races per series point schedule. The racer who has the most points from GT and GTC will be determined the Winner of the Exhibition Weekend.


HAVE YOUR QUAL TIME DONE BY 1pm PST SUNDAY. Thats 4 days to get it done!
The last qual session will run at 1:00pm Sunday. Anyone who does not qualify will be subject to Rule 4.1E

depends on what time zone you are in. (Predator normally does qualifying near to the deadline from my own experience)

glad you enjoyed it. That was just a taste! The Season Begins Next Week at Sebring International Raceway! Now it counts!

Waiting for results on C room to calculate total times for both races to detemine Class Winners. Overall some great racing!

GT Class was pretty close with a 4 second margin between first and second.

GTC Class was PHOTO FINISH CLOSE! with only .145 separating 1st and 2nd!!!!!!!!!! That is close!

Now we prepare for Sebring and the points battle begins!

(I have not gotten a replay for A/B room, I need to get a jump on this and here is just C room for now, gift me the A/B room lobby replays please.)
Note: I don't know why the images saves so much smaller than usual. I would prefer them larger however if i can't find a solution would thre be any problems leaving them this size? ****C-Room****

Well, there are many ways to sum up an exhibition race to start a season but this one seemed spectacular. The racing was surprisingly close as 3 battles ensued. The battle for the lead between TheManNowDog and WinglessMkIV started as soon as Wingless got an incredible run on the 2nd and 3rd place drivers in the opening laps.

The fire under the competitors raged on for 3rd as a dramatic three way battle took place. Roca, Hannibal, and Placebo battle hard for the entire race, never once having more then 300 ft between the three of them. In turn 9, where all the action was today, the competitors traded positions over and over again. Here Placebo tries to take the middle route to third and while a sense of victory was achieved, it was stolen away in moments by the American V-8 's incredible pull.

Not missing a beat the competition continued down the turn 10's hairpin. From there on the action continued in this fashion for the rest of the race. Small bursts or radio chatter reveals the amazement that the drivers had for the tightness of the battle. Sportsmanship was clearly present, a Forza 4 rarity (in most public races). However on lap 14, almost as if scripted by Hollywood directors Roca got his big break. Placebo's breaks decide they wanted to go on vacation and in turn 11 he slides clean off the raceway giving up position without a fight. It was down to Roca and Hannibal now and for the final lap they left it all on the track with Roca taking down Hannibal by roughly 3 car-lengths.

Back to the battle for first. Wingless and ManNowDog. Mono y mono. American and German muscle dueling for the lead. First place position was traded back and forth througought the second half of the race. And once again corners 9, 10, and 11 proved to be the place to make a move. Wingless uses the Porsche's superior turning capabilities to dive-bomb into turn nine and make his move as he sees ManNowDoglose his line and slide to the outside.

Then after a role reversal in turn 10 they come down the back stretch. Side by side they went, stuck together like cheese on pizza. Not a dime could be dropped between these two!

After this stretch Wingless made a mistake that cost him some time and bought TheManNowDog a small lead. The race continued until the very end as the Lobby C winner crossed the line with only a few seconds between him and his pursuer. Congrats on a good race ManNowDog and good race to all that participated.
