Section 8 season 10 livery Request

2010 Corvette Grand Sport. Would really like to do a one-off design. Looking for something mean/modern looking. Something similar to how you did the holden HSV GTS for me. Main sponsor to be Mobil 1/Section 8. Any ideas or insight from anyone would be great. Thanks. As of now it will be 2 car, and hopefully a possible 3rd for season 10. Thank you.

I asked if anyone had any input for the design. Not just 3d. I know it will take awhile, and that's not a problem.

Those are some options.

Pardon the interjection where it may not be my place, but 3S is currently closed from orders until further notice. Currently they're booked with requestw and jobs, and they'll open up when most of their backorders are out of the way. So anyone who had an order in before the close or had a close deadline taken priority.

On another note, they have already made the livery in the above post if that makes anything easier. (not sure if they sold the rights for it too or not though).

it is true the paint shop is closed, but you can still put orders in (it just means that you will not get the design as quickly as possible).

Just post it on the realistic racing forum (click here) and they do respond quickly. I would say however from exeperience you need to private message one of the painters before hand with your idea and photos (including unique designs such as the one you are on about).

after that post it on their forum once they are satisfied with the order and they will begin work on it.

I understand they are busy. Don't need this livery until next season (season 10). Was trying to use the extra time and see what other drivers would suggest as well. Almost like a friendly contest lol. Thanks for the photos pred. I wouldn't mind the design, but a change if colors and sponsors. "Any" ideas would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

I have both liveries that I created as well as a couple others for the Vette. I am not one to do sponsor creations though. No time for that side of it. I can create the base design.

I can help on the sponsors front I do a collection of good sponsor logo's you can use for your corvette if you want. (some are on the storefront if you see any you want for your car just let me know)

Sadly no Mobil 1 logo's in my collection but some others might be a good compromise

This was done for one of our TORA customers. Generally we do not resell designs immediately. I want whomever gets a paint to have the opportunity to be the only one with it for a bit.





IMO that Holden we did was one of the meanest front ends I've seen on any car. Too bad you didn't run her.

When we are closed we allow you to place an order but you can expect a wait as Tommy said. We will open when the 3 designs we have left are completed. Take note that the Ultimat Ferrari is going to be another time eater like Sainted's team Asia Endurance GT3 was.

Ok, understood. When the time comes just let me know. Would like something like the Holden paint. Let me know when your ready. Don't need it unroll season 10 lol.

I know of a few liveries that i personally havent seen on forza b4 but are real life paints. let me grab a few pics.

imho since Corvette has had such a rich racing history that you should find a retro paint and put it on your corvette.

If thought about going that route but don't really know. Waiting to see about some sponsorship and then go from there also. Thanks for the input. Any other ideas let me know please, thanks guys.

You could always go over the top and do that one super duper crazy corvette paint in the Super GT cars. i found a few of it but its either yellow and pink or white and pink lol.

Yeah. I'm tired of yellow already lol. And I've done the pink, and I'm good. Pink is cool for special events, but not all season.

(I just thought this one was cool i dont even know what its on just that its a Trans Am league car. lol)

me personally I like the mad-croc design.

what about going old school with a design from early corvette racing cars for instance

I know the retro designs won't be a exact fit but if you have a modern version of them with modern logo's on them then it might look quite cool

I like the base for the Tanaka but the face is wild o.o They race some nice liveries in japan tho. The retro paint would look sick as well. I saw some and i was like hmmmm not bad o.O

I personally liked the mad croc as well, nad its got an alternate where its black and silver with a red croc so your teammate could run the same but diff. but you could be... the killer croc BAH-ZING!

The phoenix is also niceee too bad there isnt matte or that would look good in matte black :c thats kind of a mix of retro and new so i see why you like it.

Not really into the jap corvette lol. Thought about going old school, but really like the Phoenix design. That is the look that I'm going for. Thanks a ton guys.

I know its nurburgring 24 hour but just find it funny when I see it

(I only been able to see 2 asia cup V8 Vantages and they do look good)
