Season 9 Race 14 Suzuka GT/GS 45 Laps - ST 25 Laps

It sounds like it was a good race. Sad to have missed it. Provided that I'm not busy, I'll be running against you guys at Nurburgring.

I'm only kidding about the PI. Don't want to start WWIII just yet lol.

i think today's race was a success. Kept it 100% clean, and as far as i can tell finished top 5 twice.

Some great battles in ST. sainted ohh sainted, I thought I could hold you off but you were dialed in. ( plus I had a little damage that didn't help).

Raceboy, I really was pushing and for a while I thought I would be able to maybe get a pass or we would battle it out till the end. I made a very small mistake and you got away. Then GS traffic gave an ebb and flow that worked better for you. Great race everyone!

lol i cant believe i was able to come back form over a thousand feet. it makes me wonder where i could have finished since i was able to get within 200ft of 4th. oh well. always next season at my favorite track. good racing pred. i was damn scared to get into you. btw... go watch lap 6 turn one between me raptured and tommy.... oh yeah. insane.

Really? Did you? It took me a bit to get used to my new looser setup that was around .5 seconds slower making it as near impossible as there could be to get past slower cars.

when did i get into you bud? if i knew i hit you i would have said something, i literally took zero damage and dont remember feeling any rumble from bumping you. sorry about that :c i had no idea

I think I saw you two have contact if I recall it was around the dunlop curve (or before that corner) around lap 4-5 I believe you touched him in that section which caused your car to go loose and nearly go into one of the sand traps. (I could be mistaken but it did look like contact to me)

but I have to admit lap 6 was damn lucky that there was no contact in turn 1 and was able to make it stick haha

lol Yeah it was in where Tommy is talking about, but we were really getting after it! I forgot to grab the replay to check the action. I don't remember seeing the damage graphic come up, but a few laps later I checked to see if something had gone awry as my handling was enough different to feel like nothing was wrong but still feel out of whack at the same time. AFIK, it was just awesome close racing. Couldn't even tell you who got into who and if it was or not.

Sounds like everyone had an overall good weekend. Congrats to Raceboy, no brakes, and hired for their wins. I'm lookin forward to the season final. Need to find a mad scientist to work on my corvette lol.

Just giving credit where credit is due. I'll be scratching my head for the next two weeks in how to beat you RPM boys for the next two weeks. Is "bla bla bla" a decent lap time?

I have got to give props to b lobby this weekend. That is the first time I have been in b lobby and it gone smooth. I also had a very consistent race. I hope I moved up a little but it doesn't sound that way from what I hear. Sounds like everyone was fast. Overall I haven't had a race run that smooth in a long time. Great start to the end of the season. Lets hope the ring goes as smooth.

That is reduction speed!

Reduction speed? I haven't hit that time. Just shot a number out there. You can look at the leaderboards and see I hit a "bla bla bla". Just trying to see where I need to be is all.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who was scared about you running a time like that. that would have been FAST.

Ok cool. Thanks for the info. Easier to practice when you have a goal in mind.

I will be on tonight killer, if you want to run some laps and see what we can hit. I plan on treating this the same I did Le Mans. Working two straight weeks and then giving 110% come race day.

I dont hate the ring at all i love the flow but i wont lie. I feel like im going fast but im damn slow lmao.

Looks like we will be starting amongst each other. If I can figure out a way to keep up with you two for a while, maybe I can follow you towards the front.

I'm hoping to get a lot of practice in before this race. I just hope I can get one more clean race before the season is over.

You'll get there. Just don't over think the track. And the harder you push the car the slower you will go. Set the car up for fast laps, don't force the car to do fast laps. Sounds really dumb, but this is what has been working for me. 1 lap faster than everyone else doesn't win the race. 50 consistent laps to your qual time will show good results and possibly a win. Not trying to sound condecinding or make you think that I suddenly know something special. I'm not that great, I just run a ton of practice laps and make every lap count.
