January 30th - Suzuka City, Japan
Room Set Up Begins at 3:30 PST
Qualifying to start 4pm. PST

Suzuka Circuits main attraction is its stunning array of technical corners leading into high speed straights, which lends itself to some great racing. Suzuka has been the location for some epic battles which will ensure it’s place as a historic racing venue for the Series. Suzuka is one of few circuits in the world to have a figure 8 layout. Due to the obvious danger it would present the track doesn't actually intersect with itself instead the back straight passes over the front section by an overpass

Thankfully tonight is my team's practice night.

so i got bored and decided to make my own miller lite logo. then i took it to the next level and made a vortex bottle. i dont brag about my stuff much but im proud of this haha. will be making its debut this weekend at SUZUKA

sooo as of yesterday I now have the same problem affecting many others since last week's patch (just look at the xbox support forums) where my xbox can connect to the internet but not Xbox Live. If this dosent get fixed soon I'm gonna have to prerace somehow.

if you cant connect to xbox live then you cant prerace i went through that problem last week. the only way to setup a custom race like that is in multiplayer and if you cant connect to xbox live it wont let you access the multiplayer menu

No it's called pre-race for a reason don't mean to sound like an ass, but it's just to keep peace within all the racers. If you find out race times etc from the race and all of that just go to a friends house or something that has internet and race or pre-race there.

Except his problem isn't an internet problem, it's that his xbox can't connect to live due to an error in the latest dashboard patch.

I guess he could go to a friends house who has an xbox

I would say get on the phone with Xbox live support and see what they have to say. If you cannot make a race you cannot race afterwards. It must be a pre-race not a post race. That rule has been enforced and in effect since season 1.

I know it sucks, but you have have to try to rectify the problem.

By the way nilla the bottle looks good. Is Miller Lite going to sponsor the race and give a lifetime supply of MGD or Miller Light to the winner?

I just came home from work and everything works fine so crisis averted.

well if something like that happens, i would save everything somewhere like a back etc... use a USB stick, then unplug it and delete all temporary files and everything off the xbox (i think it says somewhere 'factory settings') then it should work

Bugatti strikes again! That was one of the most fun races of the year. As much as I give you $hit Pred, you've done a damn good job at providing close, competitive racing even out of such a high PI, and I'd like to congratulate you for that. Props! I can't believe the big quad-hamster wheeled 1.7 soda-bottled a$$ happy beast finished 3rd at that track.

Awesome win bradz, now you can go eat a sandwich.

Sorry to bimmer for wrecking you once again. And sorry to Hiredgun for somewhat divebombing you.

Metal, I still can't believe we ran that whole race never farther than 2 seconds apart (minus the 1 lap difference in pit strategy). I just can't wait for Nurburgring Nordschleife! T-minus 7 weeks and counting!

Thank you Spurtle. I do appreciate that you are enjoying the competition and the series. It has been tough work but I enjoy it (except yesterday when my race ended only 4 laps in. )

I guess after 3 1/2 seasons this is the first race I got serious damage enough to take me pretty much out of the race. It was mostly aero damage with a bit of transmission damage but it effectively took me out of the running physically as well as mentally. Frustration set in quick cause I was hoping to improve on my qualifying position and ended up smashed and in the wall on lap 4.

I will be out of town for 5 days starting Wednesday until Tuesday night next week. So everyone have a great week. I will be on the forums though.

also thanks to everyone else, but on my last lap my mind was going mad, like i was shouting at my self IVE WON! and as soon as i past the finish line i was like yay! i won, then straight to oh no im getting a PI hit and ill be back to B room lool, i think i just got a lucky qual/lap then an empty road ahead of me and i had my mind perfect for the race, and yes pred i think you have done an amazing job with the PI

i feel you brad. even tho i may not get a pi reduction, i felt the same way. i thought i had won until good ol lumanize comes up behind me as i get stuck on the last s curve in the damn golf patch. well thats what i call it anyway. talk about pissed and yelling. i led all forty laps like it was meant to be then. a swift kick in the nutz. then we finish neck and neck. none the less tho. a damn good race by everyone in room c. i will be torturing lumanize until we face off again. road atlanta here we come.
