QUALIFYING CLOSES @ 12:30PM PST Each Race Sunday! (Last session Held at 12:30PM PST
As racers of the Forza Sports Car Series begin to settle in for the fights to come and dig in we travel to the Bernese Alps. A racetrack that is high up in the Swiss mountains that will test a drivers skill and resolve with it's the tight turns, wide open throttle downhill section, the dark tunnel, and breathtaking scenery of mountain passes. The Bernese Alps exemplifies the ultimate high-altitude driving experience into a state-of-the-art road course that is the equal of the world's greatest circuits. It is this high-altitude and cold climate along with its fast speeds and close walls that street circuits have that will challenge the racers of the Forza Sports Car series. The primary characteristic of Bernese Alps is the overwhelming sensation of speed. The tarmac is wide and forgiving, allowing you to stay on the track while maintaining a fast clip; throughout much of the course, you'll be at full throttle. Despite all the room between the rumble strips, you'll have to exercise exceptional control to hit the apexes perfectly. Then there are the tight twisty bits that the slightest mistake can spell disaster! Taken as a whole, the Alps course provides the awesome rush of velocity for any racer, but exceptional challenges for those working to hone their racing skills. Click For SERIES RACE SCHEDULE

this track was real fun a couple of seasons back in the M3, not to sure if I am going to be able to make it but I will try my hardest to get back from going out to a BBQ to watch the F1 and Indy.

I have a feeling the Zonda's are going to do well here.

the higher the downforce at this track the better. the highspeed corners are what make or break your lap. This track really shows who can maintain speed in a corner. Tricky braking and the proper amount of aggression on the throttle will net you a good lap at the Alps. If you push too hard you will be punished. Also, a friendly bit of advice. If you are running 1-2 seconds off the pace... BUT you manage to get no damage the whole race i will bet you that you will finish ahead of where you started. Its a done deal. Aero matters here.

yeah, I don't think I will be able to do this one. Going to have to pre-race and submit in the result.
I will probably qualify room 2 aswell, since this track has too many corners.

you are definitely right the alps is not about how fast of a lap you can do, but rather can you do those laps without going off the track on a circuit that has little to no run-off areas (i.e. a good driver with the right car can really do well here)

I hope that's the case, I wouldn't mind a better finish than LS.

You will need to race along side a set list of AI cars and then save your replay and photograph the results.
