| Which one do you guys use and why? Do you feel it really makes a difference?
As for me, personally, I use sim steering. Always have. It was easier when using the wheel though. Now I use a controller. The hardest part is going over rumble strips and fast directional left-right or right-left transitions. I have tried normal steering but just can quite swing it.

Have used Sim with controller since I picked up FM4. Never tried Normal, so not able to compare.

| I have always used sim because I don't know the difference. I race controller and I find it a little more difficult than forza 3 to handle having tires on different surfaces but I'm used to it now | |

What's the difference? Is Sim really meant for wheel and Norm for controller? Does it provide more assistance in terms of stabilizing the car or something, or like an inherent traction control?

Sim steering is supposed to be more realistic, but it does not enhance anything. Instead it just makes for a more difficult to control car. Very inconsistent, and a real handicap to me. I use a CSR wheel.

I use a CSR wheel. I see. Found some stuff on it on the Forza Forum as well. Don't see any reason to change at this point.

| I've always used sim on a controller too. I tried normal for a while last season and just couldn't get used to it. It felt like it just softened or slowed my inputs, which made it difficult for me to get the car turned in initially, and really tough to correct for oversteer, although it greatly reduced the chances of getting oversteer. | |

| For wheel users...Sim is all but impossible to drive GT, or GTR cars with. If there is ANY type of loss of traction that is anything beyond a little slight drift with SIM Steering and a wheel in GT or GTR you can bet your bippy your going tank slapping and gonna spin uncontrollably. I use Sim with all other cars except GT or testing GTR. | |
