RACE 7 Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca 40 Laps Sept 26

September 26th 5pm. PST - Monterey, California, USA
This race represents the Halfway point for the season and the battles for points are fierce! Laguna Seca ,for over 54 years Sports Car Racing and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca have gone hand in hand. With one of the most world renown and daunting corners known to the racing world, the corkscrew will undoubtably present and interesting challenge to the cars and racers of this series. The racing is sure to be fierce on the beautiful wine country and rolling hills of this legendary track.

Well, the Ferrari's of Predatory Racing have been seen testing and tuning here at Laguna Seca. The teams lead driver has been known to struggle at this track and it appears he is intent on improving that. The paddock always seems to fill up when the sound of those magnificent Ferrari 458's fills the air.

For the first time in our series and forum history I had to Delete a racer from the forums. It's unfortunate that this had to occur but hopefully we all move forward and enjoy the friends that have been made and the racing that's ahead of us.

So like, knocking out marker isn't cool, hmmmmmk? Seriously, i was really tempted to go backward and crash you plfs -.- Anyway, it was a fun race for the most part. The first 15 lap were quite exciting for me : lots of battle went on... and i lost them all to finish last. But it was fun nontheless. I wish i would have driven less erratically (y'know, with like i was doing at the beginning of the race when there was markers) but atleast i finsihed it. Congratulation bimmer for the win and don't worry spurtle, i'm not really angry Or am i?

My car was untuned and awful. I lost control on back to back to back laps. There was nothing I could do. Learn to use a permanent marker next time ;-)

That was a great race. I got a great jump on the start and made some moves early to get third. Battled with PLFSpurtle and Moi1029 for the first half and then PLFSpurtle and DWilkerson the second half. It was one heck of a battle till the last second of the last lap! I am pleased with 4th on this track because I don't usually have good results on Laguna Seca. That is a good start to the second half of the season for me....The next tracks the Ferrari 458R should be a strong contender for some of them podium spots!

I think for GT the cars are pretty much even and GTC is doing well. The second half of the season is going to decide the best season yet and the $100 winners.

I'm probably going to need a pre race for maple valley so bimmer if your still going to pre race I can run it with you.

this is just an idea so dont jump on me if you disagree but, maybe the gtc drivers should just join in with gt since theres not many to show up for the gtc races. the only guys really that still race in gtc are wayyy better than me, or at least their cars are. all the average guys that are like me just quit pretty much. but im not a quitter! i just wanna have fun and a 5 person lobby that kicked my ass wont fun lol

Although i do agree both class in the same room would be fun it might cause more accident due to more overtaking of the gtc car. And there's also the problem of dividing the group. With 5 driver in gtc on laguna seca that would mean b room would have 1 gtc driver and 4 gt. Not so fun for the poor guy in b room imho. However, when we're at a good number of people like 8 gt 8 gtc it would be fun to have both class mixed and maybe no 5 sec delay for the second room.

i meant like the gtc guys just drop gtc and get gt cars so we're all racing for the same thing

It's too late for that. There are 2 point series goin on and 2 $100 dollar prizes at stake.

looks good, umm just a few things, i like how the picture doesn't oscillate anymore, good idea. but the contrast between the blue and red kinda gives me a headache almost. its alright, i just cant stare at it for a while.

umm about the pictures that way they might have a little more realistic-ness. may i suggest less aperture that way there is less blur with the cars in the background
