| This is to announce a 3 race series.
The cars will be stock except Race tires.
The track will not be announced until the race is being held.
The room Official will get that rooms racers into a private party chat to announce the car and track.
The car that will be raced will not be announced until the race is being held.
The racers will have a few moments to buy the car once announced and put on the race tires and join the race room.
There will be a 6 minute warm up a familiarization run prior to the qualifying session.
Qualifying will be 4 laps.
The races will be 15 laps each.
Each race will be scored:
25pts for 1st 22pts for 2nd 20pts for 3rd 18pts for 4th 17pts for 5th On down to 0
There is a max of 14 Entrants for this mini Spec Series. Two rooms of 7 racers. Each room will have a race official who will spectate and officiate. Clean driving is not a question. It is mandatory.

There are Spots reserved for: BIMM3R PrOnebird Spurtle xXScienceXx
That leaves 10 open spots UNLESS the primary parties mentioned decide not to run.
The first race will be held This sunday at normal race time. This thread will be where all information is posted pertaining to The Sports Car Spec Series (SCSS)

| as much as i would like to drive the cars, it would take me longer time to be "familiar with the cars" so im down, IF AND ONLY IF you have enough officials and there spots for the drivers are not full
if not, then i can be an official i guess

| This was on the fly. I have the results from the first room and I can post them but it not really official due to times not collected as in normal fashion.
Other than that it was a great success. Everyone had a great race except 1 person that will remain unnamed, who found out that not using the clutch costs about a second a lap. | |

Because honestly the person who uses the clutch should actually be slower than the person using "flappy padels" or Direct Shift Gearboxes, and the automatic should be the slowest of the three. So for a 'stock' car race those who use a clutch in Forza have a definite advantage that cannot be overcome if you put two people of equal skill and speed together and let them race. The clutch person will win every time. (In Forza) | |
