| I have been thinking about looking into starting a Le Mans series where cars prior to say the mid 70's could be used. I was thinking of a race were you would see the Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, Ford GT40, the Jaguar D-Type, and the Aston Martin( cant remember the name sorry). Maybe make some PI adjustments to balance them out for competitive racing.
Let me know what you guys think as I am open for Ideas. I have never run a league and such but maybe just running some exhibitions may get more people interested and on board.

| Do you guys think it should be only like a GT series or should it be 2 classes( if there were enough of us)? Say a touring car class? | |

| There are enough period cars to possibly split it into 2 (or maybe 3?) classes. I think we can do up to 4.
Class 1 '54 Mercedes (?) '56 Jag D-type '57 Ferrari TR '58 Aston DBR-1 '60 Corvette C1 (?)
Class 2 '61 Jag E-Type '64 Aston DB5 (?) '64 Ferrari GTO '65 Shelby Daytona
Class 3 '66 Ford GT40 '67 Ferrari 330 P4

| I wouldn't get to set on your car just yet we would need at least 16 for me to consider more than two class which still need to be figured out. | |

| I'm only racing in this if I can do the GT40. I don't really care for any of the other cars. GT40 is a classic Le Mans car anyway, it would be weird to run a series without it. | |

| Am I allowed to say that the GT40 in Forza is a piece of crap? I love it in real life though I swear | |

| The GT40 is one of the most recognized entry's ever to race at Le Man, No doubt about that. But as of right now Im not orginized enough to set people into classes when they haven't been figured out yet. I will let you know once the series gets off the ground. | |

| We should all try to get in a lobby and try each car on the list. And see how they work in relation to each other. | |

| Honestly, you (the admin of the series) should run 5 or so good laps with each car after they've been tuned, average the times and see how those compare. Then make PI adjustments until the lap times are near identical. No further PI tweaks and have the rest be up to driver skill.
That would undoubtedly take too much time though, which is why Pred has gone the way of making PI adjustments based on driver skill more than the car itself.

VeeVee: It would be a lot of work but definitely the most effective way of doing things. Then after make driver PI adjustments. Basticle: Thats how it goes unfortunately. I might not even get to be in the car I want to. that will diversify the field which is what I am hoping for. Seeing 8 Gt40s in a race isn't a good thing. and the most expensive car doesn't necessarily mean it will be the fastest.

depends on how fast they go and not how much power they have since speed and HP numbers dont always go together in Forza. |

I ran the 330 P4 Ferrari againts the GT40MKII and it wasnt even close. When in real life that was a classic battle with Ford on top. I gotta work on the PI adjustments.
