I was thinking of having our own take of the LeMons racing series on Forza. Here's a video to give y'all an idea: Generally the rules of the race are that your car and the budget to make it run is $500, but since there is no such thing as paying to fix a car on Forza except the repair fees are taken from your winnings and affinity levels making parts mostly free, I've decided that the cost of the car cannot exceed 20,000 credits. The rules I came up for this mini-series of mini endurance races are as follows:
1. Cars cannot exceed 20,000CR 2. B Class Only 3. Cars must have Race Roll Cage, Race Tires, and Race Weight Reduction 4. Cars must have Number Plate on both sides, number in front and back, Gamertag on both sides, and a check mark in the back. I'll provide the number plate and the check mark 5. Everything goes when it comes to livery 6. Model Year must not exceed 1995 7. Engine and aspiration swaps are allowed
The approved list of cars are as follows (list subject to change due to further testing and future DLC releases):
5,000 CR range: 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Quadrifoglio Verde 1977 AMC Pacer X 1986 Dodge Shelby Omni GLHS 1978 Ford Mustang King Cobra 1973 Ford Pinto 1991 Honda CR-X SiR 1994 Honda Civic 1.5 VTi 1995 Honda CR-X Del Sol SiR 1988 Mitsubishi Starion ESI-R 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT 1978 Saab 99 Turbo 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI 1983 Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution

8,000CR to 9,000CR range: 1970 Nissan Datsun 510 1986 Alfa Romeo GTV-6 1990 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205
12,000CR range: 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 1969 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 1966 Ford Country Squire 1993 Ford SVT Cobra R 1992 GMC Truck Typhoon 1991 GMC Truck Syclone 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432 1989 Porsche 944 Turbo
14,000CR to 20,000CR range: 1995 BMW M5 1982 DeLorean DMC-12 1991 BMW M3 1988 BMW M5 1990 Lotus Carlton 1971 AMC Javelin-AMX
This oughta be a fun little thing to do on the side. More than likely, the races would be every Wednesday night at 6 EST. Lemme know if y'all would like to do this. Cheers!

just as a suggestion, i would force people to have stock suspension and drag tires (as its a budget series) i think it would make it more fun as im guessing its not like a real race series just a fun race lol

Hmm... I haven't thought of that. I'll give that a go. Whatever cars seem completely useless, I'll remove. Thanks for the idea, mate.

also no aero and a race exhaust to make the cars sounds louder and scream more
EDIT: oh and stock diffs, with these old cars it makes a huge difference

I've just checked it out and it doesn't seem that the online game setup goes that deep. The only way to figure that stuff out is to have every entrant send me their tuning setup so I can see that everything is alright and honestly, that would be more trouble than it's worth. Thanks for the suggestions, though! Also, I've seen in-car footage from those races and almost everything is stripped out of them. They have no dash, no stereo, no air-con, no carpets, no passenger seating, or anything. It's just your seat, a speedometer, a fuel gauge, a roll cage, and everything that makes it go.

Yeah. The first time I heard about the 24 hours of LeMons was in a Car and Driver magazine back in '06. It honestly looks like alot of fun. It's definitely something I would love to do.
