New beta firmware 742 and driver 125

Fanatec just released a new Beta Firmware and Driver update for all Fanatec wheels. Most notably, this brings the Auto Clutch feature to almost all Fanatec wheels...something users of old wheels will be delighted to hear.

Good find. I think I am going to wait for the final version and skip the beta on this one. I gave up my guinea pig days when I left the Marine Corps.

I think I'll try it. The dead zone around center is killing me and the FFB on PC isn't good. I have 706 I can always go back to.

I tried the new firmware tonight and I liked it much more than 737. Spring issue seems to be fixed. The FFB seemed much stronger. I had to drop it from 80 to 60. Fan was really quiet, barely running. It did kick in when I got to racing though.

just out of curiosity how do you do these updates I have ordered a fanatic steering wheel set (the normal csr wheel), do not know when it is arriving.

Also, here is a link to order Fanatec products. However, I would use caution when ordering right now. Their new CSW wheel base release brought a lot of traffic to their site and it is crashing. People are concerned because it is causing issues with orders. I would wait until they get the new site sorted out before ordering. You can usually find some for sale on ebay or in the forums of insidesimracing.tv too.

Ahh too late ordered it today just before my 1st post on this thread.

for those wondering I went for the CSR wheel value pack XL in the end (could not justify the Elite for me personally too expensive for my 1st racing wheel)

I am selling my CSR Elite with Elite pedals and Rennsport wheel stand. PM if interested.
