| For all of you Fanatec CSR and CSRE owners out there, Fanatec hid and "egg" in the form of a firmware update in one of Thomas' latest blog postings. Below is a link to an article on the Fanatec Fan site that talks about it. I have not tried installing this yet......so please beware. It does look like a few people have installed this firmware with success though. | Just received my csr. does anyone know how to have your led display your speed or your gear on the csr? on Rfactor?
what does this firmware changes? | |

what does this firmware changes? Q1: no idea. Why would you be looking down at your wheel for speed. Seems a bit inconvienent. Q2: feedback refinement and AUTOCLUTCH!!! | |

| When I updated Sam, there was a really bad "notch" in the center. Almost like there was a bump when moving away from or back to center.
Also, if the Spr was set at 0 or above, the wheel was very heavy, hard to to turn. When set below 0, the "notch" would go away a little, but it was almost as if there were no FFB.
I went back to 706 cause I couldn't take the center issue. The auto-clutch was nice, but I couldn't take the steering issue. | |

| No notch issues on this end. Check all of your in game and wheel settings to ensure it is just not a setting issue. | |

| Did you have 706 installed already when you updated? I did not....could that be the problem?
What are your in game settings? Maybe that is where I am messed up. I didn't change anything, but who knows.
Sorry to drill you with questions.....but I would love to get the ACL w/o the other issue | |

| I am not sure what version was on the wheel i bought it in Jan and the gentlemen said he just updated it to the latest firmware. I guess i should have checked!
