| I've updated the rookie lists with those who have signed up and have sent out new private messages to those who have been added.
In response to Kameraboy, the fact that you raced four races actually disqualifies you from entering this season. To qualify for Rookie of the Season, you cannot have raced in two or more seasons or ran in four races during the course of one season. Since you have competed in more than four races, you have already been considered a rookie for Season 7.
In response to Jack Copus, Pred is right. You have to register before I can put you on the list.

| My name isn't listed as rookie for GTC, though Pred has listed me as such.
I completed 3 races last season, and I've never run in any other season. I believe the cut off point is more than 4.

| Rookie Post Race Report (Sebring International Raceway)
Season 8 means fresh new faces to the Forza Sports Car Series. Once again, our new drivers have to prove themselves all over again at the famed Sebring International Raceway. This season, controversy and contact are reoccurring themes as early issues arose this weekend.
Coming off fresh from the two practice races at the Twin Ring Motegi and Iberian International Circuit, our GTC rookies kept up the momentum. EZT Gambit and F4H Diablo captured the first two positions on the grid for the start of the eighth season with fellow rookie EZT Sabre starting in fourth and F4H FACEPALMER starting a few positions back in seventh. For most of the race, our rookies kept their respective starting positions, battling it out hard for the race win. One non-top ten rookie, killer1241817, grabbed the GTC Hard Charger award by moving up eight positions for his seventeenth place finish. nine3cobra, who started in seventeenth, drove through the competition to post a solid top ten finish. In front of him, F4H FACEPALMER improved his position to sixth and EZT Sabre dropped to fifth, but the main focus of the GTC rookies were on top of the leaderboard. EZT Gambit and F4H Diablo battled back and forth for most of the race and EZT Gambit held off F4H Diablo for a easy twenty-eight second victory over second place. During the post-race inspection, however, EZT Gambit was found with illegal parts on his race car and was given a thirty second penalty. This penalty put F4H Diablo into first place and putting EZT Gambit's race winning performance in second. This major penalty prevented EZT Gambit from claiming his first victory in the Forza Sports Car Series. Hopefully, he will be able to put up another good run at Bernese Alps.
Over in GT, where the rookies are few and far between, there were only three rookies who actually started the race. The highest finishing rookies, Boostbeef, placed eleventh after a hard two hours. Fellow rookie BlackHawk S61 had an astounding race, moving seven places to finish seventeenth. xToxicEiREx had just as good of a race by moving seven spots as well to finish twenty-first overall.
Even though there is not much action in GT, our GTC rookies are giving us a treat so far. The racing is nice and close between these drivers, especially with twenty-one rookies making there first start at Sebring. Hopefully, the cold air at Bernese Alps won't scare off any other rookies as they look to take on yet another difficult race course for the second race of the Forza Sports Car Series.

| Sorry for the delay everyone. I've been busy this weekend and have not had time to put in the Rookie Post Race Interivew or the Rookie Spotlight. I'll have both of those up tomorrow and be back on schedule for the rest of the interviews.
Once again, sorry about the delay.

| Rookie Post Race Interview (Sebring International Raceway) with Boostbeef and F4H Diablo
Kamikaze: "Thank you both for joining me today."
Boostbeef: "No problem."
F4H Diablo: "I'm glad to do this. It beats being in the post-race conference."
Kamikaze: "In that case let's start out with you Diablo. You came off of a strong performance at Sebring and you are officially the winner of Season 8's opening race. How does it feel to win the season opener despite still being classified as a rookie?"
F4H Diablo: "It feels good to get the first win of the season. I knew the Boss Racing BMWs would be strong and it certainly showed! Also, being a rookie, it's great to start off with winning ways."
Kamikaze: "And how about you Boostbeef? I know finishing eleventh wasn't exactly what you were looking for out there but it was still a strong finish out there, especially with all of the series veterans racing around you."
Boostbeef: "It’s not too bad racing with the veterans of the series. I’ve raced with many of them before in other leagues. I’m still adjusting to the cars though, I’m not used to racing cars at this PI level."
Kamikaze: "With all of those weeks to prepare for Sebring, what did you guys focus on to get your cars running just right?"
Boostbeef: "Actually, I signed up at the last minute and was just hoping for a solid finish. Thankfully my teammates helped me get up to speed quickly and I was able to have a pretty good race."
F4H Diablo: "My focus was just to be consistent. Sebring is a long track and small lapses led to half a second to a second off fast laps, so, I was just plain focused!"
Kamikaze: "Focus is definitely a key when it comes to handling Sebring or even next week's race at Bernese Alps. What do you think will be the key to grabbing a good finish at Bernese Alps?"
F4H Diablo: "The Alps will, yet again, be about consistency, but also tuning. This track is hard on the cars and finding a setup that will keep the car intact while driving 100% will be key."
Boostbeef: "Surviving. Especially for me since the Viper isn’t very good at the Alps."
Kamikaze: "Yes indeed. Surviving and being consistent is what the Alps are all about. I should know... Anyway, back to the race here at Sebring, I want to know something Diablo. Can you keep up with EZT Gambit in the next few weeks as he was able to run ahead of you throughout the race and lost to you due to a time penalty?"
F4H Diablo: "Gambit is an extremely good driver and he will be my benchmark all season. I just have to stay with him and hopefully pressure him into a mistake. That, or just get out ahead to begin with!"
Kamikaze: "So are you saying that he is probably going to be your biggest competition this season?"
F4H Diablo: "Yes, Gambit and even Raceboy I think will be my two biggest competitors. I know Raceboy is extremely fast in the FSCS and I think this weeks race in the Alps will show just that."
Kamikaze: "What about you Boostbeef? With so few rookies in GT, do you believe yourself to be a surefire bet for the Rookie of the Season title?"
Boostbeef: "I’d like to think so but I know all it takes is one mistake (especially at the Alps) and it can be a different story. "
Kamikaze: "Do you wish there were more rookies in GT as opposed to the enormous amount in GTC?"
Boostbeef: "I was surprised how many people there are total in GTC compared to GT when I signed up. I guess most feel more comfortable in the slower cars. I do wish there were more rookies in GT; I always enjoy having more competition."
Kamikaze: "Well, before I let you guys go, is there anything else you guys would like to get off your chest?"
F4H Diablo: "Good luck to all the rookies this week; The mountains bite!"
Boostbeef: "I just want to wish everyone the best of luck at the Alps and I’m going to end with a quote from Kimi: The helmet has a special meaning for many drivers. How important is it to you? – “It protects my head.”"
Kamikaze: "Thanks for your time guys. Good luck at the Alps."
