THE RACE TO DECIDE CHAMPIONS!

The final race to close out the eighth season of The Forza Sports Car Series brings us to the worlds toughest,most dangerous, and most demanding racecourse. dubbed the "green hell" by legendary racer Jackie Stewart-Nurburgring Nordshleife. It is almost difficult to believe that the intensely demanding Nürburgring was constructed in 1927 as a purpose-built safer alternative to the older races through the Eifel Mountains' treacherous roads. However, in the spirit of the older races, the northern loop ("Nordschleife") is a public toll road, open to anyone for a "touristenfahrten" session for a fee. It's plethora of turns (by one count 73) include hairpins, banked carousels, and the infamous "flugplatz" ("airport") bump where fast-moving cars often go airborne. The tortuous circuit gained its famous nickname, "die Grüne Hölle" ("the Green Hell"), due to the majority of the course twisting through a dense forest. Is it 20 laps or 25?

in the beginning of the season it said 25 then the dates changed and the front page changed and it said 20 now this says 25. yeesh lol. i wonder if i could do do 20 laps on one stop. i think i would be pushing it but i think its possible.

Viper has to pit twice either way. The c6.R can go 20 laps without stopping.

The laps have been corrected in the opening post. It's 20 Laps. Apologies for the confusion.

me and your teammate just finished 10 laps. I coasted in the pits on lap 10 and he was at a half tank. lol

Well i shall make it one one stop come hell or high water than. I had enough to make it around Indy without stopping if i didnt have to, i had a bit more than half a tank around the midway point.

50 x 2.605mi = 130.25 miles

i think i would have had a wee bit more gas left in the tank. im thinking i could go 11 laps? tops. either way im not stopping for a tenth of a lap splash of fuel. ill coast if i have to...

if its anything like last season for me in the Aston it won't be fuel or tyres that will be the issue it will be driver (no major mistakes hopefully)

I hope I can at least finish the race this season and fingers crossed have a similar performance before the accident.

I know I will only have to stop only once (unless car problems occur because of me or contact)

took about 11 laps to get to a half tank last night

I had to do it.

Are GT and GTC running together in this race? I heard some people saying we would be in separate rooms.

Nurburgring is not Multi-Class event. GT vs GT. GTC vs GTC!

when do we find out our grid positions and which lobbies for tonights race?

PLEASE READ RACERS AND GIVE YOUR OPINION ON THE QUESTION.

The grid positions and lobbies are set. I am working with a bit of a problem. We have 3 racers who cannot race this week due to the schedule changing mid season and other issues. I was going to race this weekend because the schedule has the race set for today and most wanted to race. Now it appears I cannot race today either. I just found out why I have been all over the track the last few days. My girl let her little brother 'try' the wheel while I was out and he broke it when he sat down using the wheel to stabilize himself as he sat he broke something inside. Now the wheel is loose inside and does not give a 1:1 ratio and has intermittend movement as it tries to correct itself. I was unaware of this and thought somehow the settings changed in the wheel or something. I have been changing settings for 3 days trying to figure it out. Finally I asked my girl did she let anyone sit and try the game. When she said yes, the argument began.

Long story very short....I cannot race. My wheel has something broken inside. I already contacted fanatec 25 minutes ago with a video of the problem. I also just went ahead and ordered another wheel to have by this week.

So I am asking that we be allowed to postpone the race until NEXT SUNDAY. I know it is a bit of a selfish request but I hope more are ok with it than not.
