I enjoy the nurburgring but I do think 20 laps is way too many laps.

I think FenderBender is right 15-17 laps is best compromise (do not want the race to be too short)

And you know it is interesting for sure. It was my first race on it ever and i feel like i have gotten a much smoother feel for it. 15 laps wouldnt be bad at all. But that extra 40 minutes is killer. 2 hours of Sebring and 2 hours of Nurb. great ways to start and end the season.

Nah, I just needed a couple of days to simmer down and get over my anger and bitterness. I blame no one of course but I was and am still upset, pissed, disappointed that I had an opportunity for the championship and lost it due to someone else. Not myself or the wheel but a third party who broke my wheel. Pretty sh@tty way to end what was otherwise a good season.

Anyway, final Championship Results will be up soon. There will be some slight rule changes for season 9 which I will point out with a post here on our forums.

I did hurt my wrist Monday at my jiu jitsu class on the punching bag with a badly placed upper cut. A lil sore but nothing to worry about. (blahzay you been on the phone with CLeo? the fortune teller lady)

Joking aside it was unfortunate that you couldn't race.

He was not here when I finally figured out what was wrong. He was visiting when he did it. I have received about 50 "Babe I am sorry's" from my girl and a few "man I didn't know" My Bad" and "What can I do to fix it" from her brother. Funny thing is none of that makes it better to me. But I have to let it go and begin to prepare the assault on Season 9 as a racer. Then I must prepare the website with Championship info and prepare the website for season 9 changes.

1. Drivers car guide pictures will return.
2. Factory Drivers will have a special notoriety on the car guide page.
3. Rule changes.
4. Finalize the Schedule for season 9
5. Contact ALMS
6. Get info to mail out Gamestop Gift cards
7. And other series administrative duties.

sucks that happened man, I was looking forward to the battle at the ring. But as much practice I did that week and plus I had plans already for this weekend I wasn't wanting to postpone on that short of notice.

By Prone and my calculations, we tied for 2nd in the points. I'm guessing since I won a race that puts me ahead of him. The top 4 in points were the only people to complete all the races, sucks we didn't have everyone at each race.

Since it's the end of the season I just want to say thanks to my teammates for helping me out this season. I want to thank Metal for starting a rivalry that made each race more interesting. (I believe we had contact at Hockenheim, Road America, Sedona, and Indianapolis.)

Congrats to all the championship and nurb winners whoever you may be. Sucks what happened to your wheel pred. See you all next season

Race Room Recap and Incident Report


GT Room

The race started great and the close racing began right away.

Lap 1 - METAL C6R has a slight contact with SSRT Pronebird causing minor damage and slight loss of control. A penalty was considered but due to the nature of the contact none was given

No other contact was noted.


B Room

The start of the race was good. The first lap was a battle of inches and mistakes made and passes taken. There was lots of little contact between cars although none too major. Most due to 4 or 5 or 6 cars racing so close on the ring and none giving an inch.

There were a few cars that took themselves out of the race unfortunately. Overall as always the ring is the deciding factor for a championship

Overall Great racing!
