Race Recap and Incident Report
ST
SSRT Pronebird and Dr PiiHB have contact on lap 1. SSRT Pronebird drifted out as Dr PiiHB was turning into turn 1. The resulting loss of control caused to further incidental contacts between the two cars causing moderate damage. RACE INCIDENT
JumpInTheFire88 does not brake adequately into the hairpin and rear ends Kamikaze1414 causing significant damage and loss of control and subsequent DNF’s for both racers. PENALTY 10 POINT PENALTY (deducted from first points earning race in ST)
Basticular makes an inside move on SSRT Pronebird @Tower Turn on lap 3 and the two have door to door contact. This caused no damage on the #6 Maserati Ghibli Cup of SSRT Pronebird, however when SSRT Pronebird got out of shape and a bit sideways and then overcorrected he was then impacted by Dr PiiHB who was on the outside trying to get by both of them. This contact caused significant damage but is a race incident due to the Maserati going in front of an overtaking Dr PiiHB. Although not pretty all of this was a RACE INCIDENT gone bad.
SSRT Pronebird on lap 3 contacts Dr PiiHB as the two are going down Ulmann Straight. It appears as though SSRT Pronebird clearly moved over into Dr PiiHB causing and creating intentional contact. THIS IS UNDER FURTHER REVIEW.
GS
SaintedPlacebo4, ROSCOEpCOTRAIN & No1 Tommy Smurf on lap 3 into the hairpin try to go in 3 wide causing all three to bump n grind through the corner. RACE INCIDENT

I was hit by Phib 3 times in 4 laps and I was sick of being run into.
You missed turn 1 of lap 2 with him just turning on me without looking and then doing the same at turn 5.
Whatever doesn't matter. Myself, Dan and Boost have decided not to race this season.

Ok. Your choices. I didn't miss any of your contact with anyone, nor did OLDFenderBener. We viewed them all. But it doesn't matter, your not racing.

Prior to watching the ST replay i had no idea what happened at the hairpin. i guess i was lucky that i decided on the straight to push it to the inside.

I like how you say I hit you three times. I gave you room every time you were there. You dumped me twice from the inside, once from the outside, then did the same to basticular, then ran me off the track on the backsretch. But hey, it was all judged as racing incidents so that's what I will accept. Not sure why we collided so much, we've run other series together and had some great battles. Just sucks that it didn't work here.

You seem to get upset any time someone questions you, disagrees with you or races you hard. Not that I really care (I am just stirring the pot really), but it seems extreme to "take your ball and go home" over an incident that is still under review and you haven't been penalized for.

I am going to defend PiiHB on this, I raced against extremely close with him throughout sebring in GS and he always gave me enough room and giving me the squeeze when defending (nothing that would risk a collison, unless it was by my own actions) and that was in a 3 ton cadillac, which I am sure is harder to drive than the Nissan Skyline he drives in ST, so I do not believe PiiHB would put prone bird in a position that collison is not easy to avoid occurring.
but I will admit I have not watched the footage of this incident (I could be wrong about the incidents), however if pred regards one as a racing incident and the other on purpose I will support pred on it.
however they is always two sides to the coin and the telemetry of the cars with the steering angle, throttle and brakes will show what was going on.

Its funny that you said something Tommy. I was actually going to bring the gs race up and use you as an example. I gave you the squeeze a few times. I believe in being competitive. If you aren't racing then what's the point in showing up.

Hmm some guys that cant race *exactly* their line get aggravated, and then when they hit other drivers blame the other guy who is already running at an adjusted line in order to be so close. When people are side by side you cant expect to run your line and not bump someone you have to adjust to the other guy.
Edit: And in my personal opinion that is the funnest part of racing. Its like chess, you have to set up where you will come out. Sometimes if i am racing close, or know i have the chance to get away once im in front ill wait 2? 3? laps til i can pass in the corner that i *know* i have them beat. This is why i almost only passed in turn 5 since i had those 3100lbs beasts beat in the braking zone by a car length.
And ill watch the replay again now.

that is true and you did give me the squeeze, but the squeezing you did was perfect line of squeezing (i.e. enough to make me back off or try to hold steady without contact occurring) and I believe I did not risk crashing with you as well.

That you did. We ran very hard and it was incredible. I held you close on every line you tried to take advantage of and then told you I expected the same and that's exactly what I got. Great race. I look forward to the remainder of the season guys. I don't think that we ever made contact the whole race. I know sainted and I rubbed once but other than that I don't think we had any contact, with me anyways.

Well ill throw in my two cents.
First corner first lap, bird locked them up and slides up into piihb. First corner Second lap, piihb chops bird by about a bumper Tower Turn (i believe) 2nd lap, Prone has his nose on the ultra inside line, he had it by a fender. and it is as my uncle always said, you have a right to your line. piihb followed his line and in doing so had to intersect prone's. however prone already established the inside was his with his nose.
Later the Ihop car couldnt hold its inside pass attempt and dumped prone.
The on the back watching the telemetry, piib was going straight and prone were going straight.... but their exits made their cars slightly angled downt he straight causing the collision. After that i stopped. if there is more i missed it.

I'm not talented enough to mess up a pass, that was me completely forgetting to brake in time.

I didn't have any problem with you hitting me basticular. It was a mistake.
Thank you for actually looking at the replay before saying something Sainted. There are a lot of people here who just like to jump to conclusions without examining the situations.
I am not dropping out of the season because I am angry with the ST race. I am, but the two are not related. I simply decided I didn't want to race.
I'm also curious as to why the other two contacts were not mentioned in the post race comments Pred. They were very obvious incidents.

It was more along the lines of he ran that car before and it was brought to my attention. (slipped my mind) Otherwise he would not have begun with the PI he began with. Not to mention 1 1/2 - 2 seconds on average a lap faster definitely needs some balance brought to that. But Raceboy is a Veteran, he know the system and he's quick. I am sure he will just pop on the tune he had before and keep it movin'.
On SSRT Pronebird...read the racap please. I mentioned three or four of the contacts you were involved in. two of them happened within seconds of the other so it was mentioned in the same incident.

i've ran that car before? lol when? i mean i've got a R3800 tune for it and i've built it to spec for testing before but that's about it. some of the guys in ST were about that much faster, a little less but when you bring in to account the speed difference from ST to GT, i'd say about 5 tenths in ST is easily 1-2 seconds in GT. either way, as always, i'll do what i can and see what comes of it.
PS: that's still the record though

If my memory serves me correct We ran the Gallardo, the Devon, The Acura last season. Never have we ran the F50. That request was denied as we had already put in for the Devon, like we we got denied access to the Cinque because driving sklll being too high.
I do however remember him testing a series of built to spec tunes and cars just to see what is what along the way.
Anyway Raceboy, good luck on tryna keep up the next few races homie

It serves you correct. Raceboy77 has not raced the car in the series. I stand corrected. Although, Starting him at 735 was me not putting information in place and not giving him an initial performance corrected PI. That slip resulted in a 1 minute and 2 second runaway win. The PIRS will of course affect the performance of the car hence bringing the #77 Ferrari F50 more on par with the field. I have no doubt (based on the math) that Raceboy77 will still be very competitive.

That whole incident with me and kamikaze stemmed from you pushing it to the inside. I was going for an out breaking pass on kamikaze but when I looked up you were trying to pass us both. So I turned back left to avoid you and rear ended kamikaze instead. I'm not blaming you and I take full responsibility for not getting my car slowed, but next time you might want to reconsider a dive bombing move like that on the first lap.
