Season 10 Race 2 Road Atlanta GT/GS 50 LAPS - ST/Spec 25 LAPS

Congratulations to my Colludium Racing teammate, CitizenS0ldier, for his second place finish in ST. Sorry I couldn't compete this weekend, guys. I got put on Zoloft over the course of the week and that made me nauseous and all sorts of other badness. I'm off of it now, but still reeling from the effects of it. I'll hopefully be around for the next race.

honestly for season 11 i think it would be a good idea to phase them out completely. those other Vettes arent great but oh well not every make can have a car thats good at GT spec. idk. but lets not start that convo here o.o

I really cant make any excuses, but I did not drive the car to its potential for 45 laps. I Felt like a baboon was driving it for most of the race. Mustered up a 4th but should have had a podium had I not missed my braking point after making a duplicate pass on predator from early in the week on the last lap. Had I been more aggresive in the ST race I might have a win. Overall good points day for the number 3 corvette and 34 "saleen" mustang.

sabre dnf'd on the LAST hill on lap 50 due to AI. Road Atlanta is always a crazy deal.

And @Citizen. I also felt like i ran liek crap. i couldnt hit a 25 all race and i was breathing on 24s duing practice adn qually. somethign wasnt right. oh well. i lost 2 spots i oculd have kept and maybe a 3rd bc of the damage that matt got at some point. shame that i let the race get away from me. oh well ONTO MAZDA

@sainted. Yeah I felt like the room was a little bit "slow" It was weird. My car felt like it had a slight loss of grip

i saw that sabre and was hoping it was just lag, i couldn't believe that it was a spectacular crash. on behalf of my AI, i'm sorry bro <3. sounds like there was some interesting things going on in B lobby lol. i was stuck behind pred for quite some time, pressuring him waiting for a mistake and he gave me one but i made a mistake right back. second mistake around lap 27 i got by and never looked back. congrats sniper on your first win! and thanks for the kind comments people :p but no, i refuse to drive those cars because
1. i need to pick a car good at base since pred won't give me PI :p
2. i may have a better plan
and the normal vettes aren't as bad as everyone thinks, just gotta be careful with them

On a similar note, why do you think they should be phased out? Is it the speed/handling ratio difference?

I vouch to keep the freaking racecars. I am much more comfortable in this car than the F50 Plus its a chevy <3

I have reviewed a both A room replays. I see no contact penalties. in ST there are a couple racers that may get penalty for cutting corners. I am having another official review for a second opinion.

In reference to Mr. Grimps replay it appears that Jeckel had avoidable contact with the Porsche and may be penalized. (need to review replay myself)

The Mannowdog incidents have been heard...This is now under investigation by internal affairs.

Other than that...Great race. Final results will be up by Wednesday or Thursday as usual.

The couple racecars we have arent goin anywhere. They achieve the laps different but turn similar lap times. Are not 'faster' in any dominating way over the course of a lap.

Raceboy good race. I held you off for a good 27 laps. Lost the lead for a couple of corners on lap 15ish but got it back after turn 12. Then lost it a final time going wide on turn 5. I was not hitting my race pace much at all. I spent too much time mirror racing looking back to see where you were and in doing so was not hitting my apexes, turn in points etc... No excuses from me though. You got me Raceboy77. The fight has only just begun.

Note to GS racers....Please just hold your line, race like you would if another car is not around. Do not alter your line or slow down to let a GT car by unless you are 100% positive you can ease off the gas just to let them by. (even this is not recommended) Braking early or changing your line at the last second causes incidents that change the outcome of races. Thanks Rant over

Just want to congratulate all the winners of all the lobbies......a special to Blakey for winning his race in B lobby job well done man. Seems like its gonna be ARix drivers against NSzA drivers are gonna be having a battle for the rest of the season.....what a hell of a battle for first in B lobby.

Blakey seeing that you came first in B lobby for GT you now know that you might just get a PI hit or just maybe a gain.....just ask Raceboy

It is no problem Raceboy77, if that flip was in the olympic high diving contest it would have got flat 10s.
Congratulations to Sniper for winning GS and Raceboy for winning GT.

Love my Haters. I just turn the volume down. Not really sure why some want me to crash or do poorly but it has no affect on me so keep hatin'.

Overall I am ok with my finish. On track incident cost me second. My own mistakes possibly cost me a win. (or at least a damn good battle for it) But, never quit giving 100% and take the final podium spot. The best start to a season for me in a long time. Feeling optimistic and looking forward to the coming battles and wars. I got my sights set on the target.

I don't know bout yall but this season looks to be shaping up to be something of legend!

In the GT battle finishing 1 second faster could have been the difference from 15 to finishing 9th.

Probably because no one likes you pred or we just like messing with you, at least I do. Sabre, 10s is an understatement lol if there was a galactic conpetition no one would have come close to that I was speechless, almost in tears at the beauty and how epic it was

I don't understand the reason for an investigation for dogs total lack of respect for other drivers. He turned his corvette into a battering ram for every driver in b lobby. I haven't seen anything like what he did since racing in public lobby's. sad when a GT driver gets lapped multiple times by the GS class. So in his totally frustration he starts wrecking the field.

Agreed, killerz', I had had to slow to his pace on the back straight because he kept blocking me or just not deciding which side of the track was his line. Each other time was a crap shoot of getting by with no issues. Also, if we could refrain from screaming in our mics would be amazing as well! I had one guy muted because I knew from talking to his girl that he was a screamer and still heard him through everyone else's mic!

Look, I'm sorry I ruined your race. My car handled like crap after the lag spike on lap 6, and every hit was all by accident. Basically, nothing frustrates me more about this than a lag spike, especially since I felt like I had a good car that day.

The incident with TheManNowDog is being handled. I know many are upset and frustrated. I have received all of your PM's and have spoken to a few of you in a party chat. I have given the accused the opportunity to tell me his side of the story via PM.

I will handle it swiftly and fairly. (some may or may not agree to that) Just know that there will be repercussions. Please no further attacks here in the forums on the driver.
