Rolling Start

Road Atlanta which is owned by ALMS and Panoz Motorsport founder Don Panoz is most famous for it being the crowning race of the ALMS season, The 12 hour Petit Le Mans. Constructed in 1969 out of a farmer's field in an area better known for oval-track racing, Road Atlanta has attracted some of the best North American race series to roar around a road course and has become home to The Forza Sports Car Series each season. With it's 12 turns, including the famous downhill "esses" and a very high speed downhill back straight this race will surely lend itself to some of the best racing of the season. With the competition heating up as the points picture begins to develop for GT and GTC class it is surely set to be a hotly contested race. Batten down the hatches and prepare for an exciting race

Qualifying is now OPEN! GET WITH A ROOM HOST OR SERIES OFFICIAL TO QUALIFY

HAVE YOUR QUAL TIME DONE BY 1pm PST SUNDAY. Thats 11 days to get it done!
The last qual session will run at 1:00pm Sunday. Anyone who does not qualify will be subject to Rule 4.1E

(thats saying I think I have a real good shot at a good result this race with my power hungry Aston

I thought we had an off week this week.

im hoping to have a better race then my first on camino coz i had to quit due to my crashing my car and it being on it side and i couldnt get it back over, i think i can do better by putting in more practice hours

You're lucky you got away with it last week, but if you flip this week, I would advise not sitting on the track for three laps

i didnt want to be the whistle blower. but yeah half a lap different and you would have been in the middle of the track at a bad bad time.

He is a rookie guys. Instead of getting on him it serves a better purpose to inform a new racer of what to do should such a thing happen again.

IF you flip your car and are on the track or racing surface it is required of you to immediately quit out. you will receive a DNF for the lap you DNF out. If you are off surface and you have someone who is willing to turn you over then thats between the two of you. But if your on the surface of the track...YOU MUST QUIT OUT IMMEDIATELY.

well i mean we did tell him to do that for 3 laps. im a rookie but i know to get out of the way. idk i dont want to sound like a hard a$$ so yeah ill shush up.

The best way to see what times people are currently running is to join as many practice rooms as you can. Use the website to view what times people ran last season 7 on the track. I will start to have rooms open a little more often starting this evening or tomorrow afternoon. I have had a full schedule up to this point.

You can catch rooms open around 8EST (midnight there) your best bet would to get together with toxic and blackhawk bc they are located in ireland and scotland and run GT. that or some guys in the EST time zone since its the closest one in america (5 hours off i think)

We all told him that like 5 times pred. When someones asked if he read the rules he said "i started to, then i got distracted"

Petit Le Mans is a race of 1000 miles or 10 hours not 12. This isn't Sebring

Well grr lol. im not as close to pole time as i was at camino then.

thought there was a week break..dunno why that changed but i'll have to pre-race because of it. dammit.

We had a week break last race. The schedule was updated after race 1. Caught the mistake I made and fixed it.

weird, looked at the schedule after the last race and it wasn't updated which was why i was a bit confused at the date on the topic. oh well.

im happy about racing road atlanta coz im faster and i can race full on 1.22.478 is my best so far.... any good?

That should have you solidly in B room, find yourself a little more time and you'd be in A room.

thats good then, i dont have the pace to keep up with a lobby im not that good B lobby seems to be a match for me :)n so i dunno weather its worth it?
