Road Atlanta which is owned by the American LeMans Series and Panoz Motorsport founder Don Panoz is most famous for it being the crowning race for the ALMS, The 12 hour Petit Le Mans. This Sunday it will thunder, roar and scream as the many cars of the Forza Sports Car Series take to the famous and deceptively fast track. With it’s 12 turns, including the famous downhill "esses" and a very high speed downhill back straight Road Atlanta will surely lend itself to more of the great racing that the Forza Sports Car Series Produces. With the competition heating up as the rivalries have formed as we turn past the halfway point of the season this race is surely to set the voracious tone for a hotly contested points battle! Batten down the hatches and prepare for an exciting race

Who will eek out the Pole Position in each class? Will a Ferrari steal it like last season? Will the home town phenom BIMM3RR take it back? Will one of the many racers desperate for fame rise up and shock GT?
In GTC will it be one of the Lotus Exige Cup cars of Desert Duck or his teamate sOul Harvest. Could it be the lone G-Force BMW 1M who capitalizes on the opportunity. Could it be Ford GT with a back to back Pole or could Mazda steal the show after getting momentum at LeMans!? Could it be A Ferrari having Ferrari dazzle Braselton with poles in GT & GTC?! Who? What Car? What Racer will rise to the Challenge?! It can be anyone. Let the competition BEGIN!!!!

QUALIFYING TIME WILL NO LONGER BE LENIENT! HAVE YOUR QUAL TIME DONE BY 1pm PST SUNDAY. Thats 4 days to get it done!
The last session will run at 1:00pm. Anyone who does not will be subject to Rule 4.1E

GTC example time of a 28 isn't even an example. Thats a mediocre A-class time that my 300hp RX-7 can run. Highly doubt any Ferrari will get pole here this year, its going to be a Ruf weekend.

also i was thinking that too, to get into A room your going to have to run a low 1:27:xxx

He didn't say best time, he said average time...seems like a good middle of the ground time to me for GTC

The time I post for an EXAMPLE is not a time I spent A whole bunch of laps to achieve...IT IS AN EXAMPLE TIME I set by picking a car that has nothing more than a 5 minute build to spec and quick tune and I run 6 laps. Done...example time. It does not say fastest time, pole time to shoot for, etc. It is a quick base time to shoot for. Of course we have drivers who will beat it, we have some that will match it and others who will be slower than it.

EXAMPLE TIME.

If Scuderia Arcadia has anything to say about it, it will be a Ferrari weekend in GTC

YOu will need to run in the low 1.27.1 or even 3s get into A room... I think this will be an interesting race...who will roll their car on the last turn(Brad) LOL

Now that I've read the words "ferrari dazzle" I think I can die happy.

Not to be a drag, but Pred Mother's day was last month and we had a vote to race or not on that day. Well this month is Father's day so i was wondering if we are going to have a vote to race on the 17th of June????????

Father's day isn't as important as mother's day..we will be racing LOL

I dont know how I'll stack up against everyone else but that was probably my best qualifying session ever.
