The rugged mountain east of Barcelona known as Montserrat (meaning "jagged mountain" in Catalan, the language of the Catalonia region) is achingly beautiful and just as achingly dangerous to the racers of The Forza Sports Car Series. The smooth forms of the weathered, exposed rock make this area, the site of a famed Benedictine abbey, a popular tourist attraction. In the world of Forza Sports Car Racing, however, Camino Viejo de Montserrat is the setting for an epic road race spanning the mountain, comprised of a series of old alpine access roads converted into a multi-purpose track environment, set to inspire some heroic racing action. The Extreme Circuit is a serpentine 4.3 mile route that explores both the beautiful surroundings and also the limits of your car & driver. The relatively narrow course climbs up into the furthest heights of the mountain, and then rapidly plummets in a sweeping and technically challenging series of turns. It takes a special car and a skillful tune and a racer with nerves of steel to be competitive on each one of the Extreme Circuit's varied segments. The first turn isn't the one to worry about. The first left hander where everyone has to brake is calamity corner for sure

That is for sure. Turn one we will still be going kind of slow, although based off the launch at road america it can get congested pretty quick when this caddy pulls the way it does, but the very high speeds of the first left will spell disaster. I dont know about you tiny car guys, but the beefy lady is running around 155 upon breaking for this corner, maybe even a little faster if I really push it into the corner

I cant even hit 155 and i brake later and carry more speed.

Yes it is 40 laps and a rolling start. GT & GS shall do our rolling start on extreme straight right after logos turn.

Ok this makes a little more sense. Although that shall make the chicane the f up point. All I can say is drivers please showpatience. This is going to be a long race. I am starting to like this course, even if I am about 3-4 seconds off pace.

First challenge is to make a clean lap on the Qualy sesion!



Maybe can be on GT this weekend, working on the Ascari.

I can do clean laps. Just can't do any faster than a 47 for gs.

I can do a clean lap too, but you know what I mean.

Is to attempt to get the highest grid position with a clean lap, this is going to be interesting.

I think this will be a great race, as long as everyone minds their manners! I think I might have a good chance to win this one in the Opel.

This for sure isnt the caddys best track. Although I should have a table this weekend which means I will be back on the wheel and able to hold my own for the top five. So look out boys, the caddy is back!

Anyone going to be on tonight to qualify? I need to put my slow time in since I will be working tomorrow until 3. This would be greatly appreciated.

Getting a clean lap here is no bueno. *sigh* And my best dirty lap is still off of what it needs to be by a few tenths.

Looks like I will be starting in the back again for this one. This is not a good place to try to pass, especially in a car that is half the width of these little foreign roads. Its going to be a long night....
