As we enter the final weeks of Season XI of the FSCS, we take the field to the legendary Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg.  Situated near the town of Hockenheim in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and located on Bertha Benz Memorial Route the Hockenheimring opened in 1932 as a motorcycle racetrack, where such famous motorcycle brands as DKW and NSU battled for supremacy. The circuit is almost completely flat, with very little change in elevation and the early course was packed-dirt, suitable for the rather wild world of two-wheeled racing.  All of that changed however in the mid-1930s when a new circuit debuted. Wider throughout and vaguely oval in shape, the track kept this form until 2001. By then, F1 officials asked for a redesigned course, and the result is shorter by 1.25 miles, removing the forest section straights in favor of more numerous tight turns. While many legendary areas of the track, like the long, flat-out curve known as the Parabolika, were left intact, the changes allow for more fans to view the improved overtaking. The resulting course is notorious for being unpredictable and relentless in its close action racing. As there is virtually no elevation change throughout the flat track, drivers must contend with five long, high-speed straights and several tight corners. Speeds of nearly 200 mph can be reached on the Parabolika before braking into the famed hairpin ("spitzkehre" in German), one of the most exciting passing spots on any circuit. A few turns later, drivers reach the modern and graceful Mercedes grandstands, which loom above a technical, sharp left-hander roughly halfway around the course—another good place for overtaking rivals. Rounding the final Elfkurve and Sudkurve turns through the immense grandstands, nearly every seat has a view of the final straight and the finish line.  Amongst other motor racing events, it biennially hosts the Formula One German Grand Prix.

Architecturally this track is a masterpiece and for racing it will provide the winner with immense pride for winning on one of Germany's premier race tracks HockenheimRing in the premier racing series The Forza Sports Car Series.  With the end of the Season in-sight, victory here may solidify one's position atop the standings, or potentially launch a contender into position for a drive for the title.

I waited yesterday night for someone to Qual my GT car and nobody was Online ( Don was away for 2 Hrs )

Spec, St and CT cars are Qualified, but times are not updated.

I will be have the track open in about 2 hours and most likely it will stay open for a few hours. I need to get as many hours as I can tonight before I qualify!

These last two to three weeks have been extremely busy for me. Barely time to do anything not business related. (even my girl is like "whats up??) Things may move a little slower for me to handle some of the functions around here but they will get done! I will just have to manage my time a bit better and get the FSCS admin tasks done in a more timely manner.


I had not turned a lap until 7:15pm yesterday. I ran laps from 7:15 until exactly midnight. The last qualifier in my room was bigdutyDMomoney who qualified at 11:40pm. 5 hours straight and me and my BMW and Ferrari are on pace....whew I was worried cause first hour or so I couldn't crack a 1:42 in the Ferrari. The BMW came around in 3 or 4 sessions.

I will be on early in the Bimmer cause I think I can improve my consistency with it and probably knock a lil off the clock also.

I qualified for spec with a 56.4. I have no qualifying time.

That's odd...I have a picture where You are Yellow, in your Ford Fusion with a time of 1:55.253 sent to me yesterday by GT Don.

Then where did you get the time of 56.4 the you originally had there. Tachyon took my qual time for spec that was the first time you had in st then you replaced it with the Time you got from Don last night check your messages from tachyon.

I can confirm Hired did qual for SPEC friday night with Tach as I was in that lobby while hired was qualifying. Tach qualed his GTR car during the same 7 lap session as hired qualed for spec.

This is correct. Hired's 1:56.4 was in the Mazda.

I tried to stop it but you owned that track

Lagged Out Lap 33 at the CT Race. 

Blobby is goinf to be a lil bit late as i am in a blizzard

Yeah, that sucked Manuel. And also the turnout was real poor, only 3 people from CT and 3 from GS in the end.
I wouldn't mind merging but it is way too late in the season to do that now, hope next season gets a little better.
