One of Germany's premier racing venues this historic track began in 1932 and is located in the scenic Rhine valley in SW Germany. This track is legendary and notorious for being unpredictable and relentless in its close action racing. With its nearly completely flat design, drivers must contend with five long, high-speed straights and several tight corners. Speeds of nearly 190 mph can be reached on the Parabolika before braking into the famed hairpin ("spitzkehre" in German), one of the most exciting passing spots on any circuit. A few turns later, drivers reach the modern and graceful Mercedes grandstands, which loom above a technical, sharp left-hander roughly halfway around the course—another good place for overtaking rivals. Rounding the final Elfkurve and Sudkurve turns through the immense grandstand. Architecturally this track is a masterpiece and for racing it will provide the winner with immense pride for winning on one of Germany's premier race tracks HockenheimRing in the premier racing series The Forza Sports Car Series.

question about my PI its (746 (+10)) is 746 the max or 756?

746 is your PI. The +10 is how far over standard Pi You are.

746 is the PI you have to race at for the race at hockenheim. Depending on how you finish there you will get more PI for the race at road america.

The Base PI for GTC is 635 - any PI number you have is either + or - of that number.
FOR EXAMPLE 646 (+11) - means your car is +11 PI above the BASE PI of 635. The number before the parenthesis IS the PI your car must be at when you qualify and race.

The Base PI of GT is 735 - any number that is + or - of that is going to show in the parenthesis.
FOR EXAMPLE 752 (+17) - that means your car is +17 PI above the series base PI of 735. When you qualify or race your car would need to be at that indicated number, in this case 752.

BULLETIN TO RACERS OF THIS SERIES - Your finishing position has NOTHING to do with how the PI may or may not be adjusted. A perfect example is a racer qualifies on Pole position, leads the whole race averaging a lap time .200 faster than the next 5 cars back. The driver gets damage finishes 31st. He WILL NOT gain PI because he finished poorly. His PI will most like be reduced or others around him increased to bring balance. Once a FORM of balance is achieved a PI might not get adjusted for the rest of the season.

Different cars are stronger or weaker at different tracks, a driver may be better at certain types of tracks, may get damage, may have just had a mistake prone race these things affect your finishing position but have zeeeeero to do with PIRS. So please do not feel if you finished poorly you are entitled to a PI increase and just because you finish well does not mean you will get a decrease. It is much more complicated than that.

Cheers for the clarification pred for everyone who wasn't sure about the rules on that one, on other news I doubt I will be that good this weekend because of a combination of my fathers birthday and helping my sister move back in home (so I won't be able to have much practice or setup work involved)

So just as a heads up, I'm moving out of my current apartment on Sunday all day and I don't know how long it take to do so. I may or may not be able to make the race, I'll get a qualify time in but no guarantee about making the race.

Will anybody be on tonight to take qualifying times?
