Season 5 Race 3 New York Full 50 Laps

For the third race of the Forza Sports Car Series 5th season we visit for the first time in Series history the street circuit of New York Full. May 15th 4pm. PST - New York City, New York USA
Another track that the Forza Sports Car visits for the first time is New York's fabled full Circuit. This track will be the stuff of nightmares for some drivers and controversy for others. This track can chew up a careless or risky driver and spit them out beaten and battered. This track is unforgiving for a racer who makes an error requires drivers to thread a high speed needle. New York Full with all it's beautiful buildings and lit up billboards has an ugly side. Who will see the beauty and who will see the beast?

WITH THIS MANY RACERS THE BURDEN OF TIME IS ON THE RACER. WE CANNOT HOLD THE WHOLE OF EVERYONE UP IF YOU ARE LATE! BE ON TIME AND IN THE RIGHT ROOM OR BE LEFT OUT!!

Just something I posted at the FWC when we ran this track, so it's not mandatory here but it's really something you should do to make everyone else' race go well.

"As this is New York, you will crash. Accept it. And when you do if there are other cars near you HOLD STILL and let them pass you, when they do, move out of the racing line and just try to stay out of the way. Hopefully you crashed by yourself and whether or not you did you have to call out what turn you're on so hopefully no one else will get caught in the mess that is New York."

I'm going to the Dover Cup race this weekend so I will be preracing. Kinda makes me sad. Good Luck everyone.

Can I do a pre-race... My intenet got knocked out in a lightening storm and I STILL have no net (bummer) they told me they'll have it up since yesterday and still up to now i have no net. I of the operators told me i might not get net back until monday, because they have very limited staff on weekends. I really dont want to miss out on a race none the less race points. so can some. plz inform me on wat i"ll have to do. also no net not forza3, PERIOD! sorry about last nights race, i felt like we was all storming towards the front and out of no where everyone dissapeared on lap 6 then about a lap and half later i got a message on my xbox saying i been disconnected from xbox live and it automatically ejected me out the game...

so i thought that might of happened to a good few people and i joined there game back and they was stil racing so i guess my connection to xbo messed up a little there well thats the first time thats happened anyway

Same for myself I'm afraid. It's extremely rare for me to lag out but I had a feeling it was coming because every race I've attended so far has been lagging and twitchy.

Considering the amount of effort put into the preparation for these races I can only conclude that this is no longer worth it, therefore I will be withdrawing from the series. Apologies.

Congrats to Prone on the win but I would like to point out that even though my efforts to tell Pred that he messed up my qualifying lap by giving me a .500 second pentaly for running a clean 59.971 I let him know about the 59.35x I ran dirty in qualifying didn't mean anything. Given that there were special circumstances as posted by the Admin in a different thread that time would have put me in A lobby...No hard feelings though, we are all human and we make mistakes.

Sorry to LBAW Grandsport who got tangled up in my one car accident, I didn't mean to ruin your race.

KIR Matthnt: If there was a mistake made you would have still been in B room with a time of 0:59.971. It's not often that a mistake is made because careful attention is paid to times and details. Apologies.

As for the crash that happened....New York has some things that are expected and wrecks are on top of that list. It truly is not THAT hard of a track to run...It just bites a lot harder when you make a mistake as many have learned including myself.
