Yes you are correct it was 1/2 a second. That penalty was upped in like season 4 I think. It's been at least a couple of seasons ago. The Pre-race penalty changed prior to this season. There were som other minor rule changes between 6 and 7. Nothing too major, more or less to be more inline with real series. Ala if you do not qualify you can race but you start in bottom room (back of the field) and get the penalty for that room plus a 30 sec time penalty. I was thinking of having all non qualifiers do the outlap with the field and having to pull into the pit at the start of the race...effectively making it a real start from the pit penalty and then I could remove the extra 30 seconds.

But yeah, if you don't know the rules why complain when you break them if you get penalized.

Race Room Recaps:

A Room - Good clean start. There were no major incidents to report. There was a little rubbin n bumpin in GTC but nothing beyond cars touching a lil here and there. Good racing

B Room - Good clean start. There were no major incidents to report. Good Clean racing.

C Room - Good clean start. Lap 4 the #35 McLaren MP4-12C of Blahzay xxl brakes to late and rear ends the #106 Ferrari 458 Italia IMidnightRiderI causing significant impact and damage. This was avoidable contact. Penalty Imposed. Lap 10 IMidnightRiderI and the #170 Ford GT Chewy3939 have a major lag incident taking both cars out of the race both DNF No other incidents noted

D Room - The start of the race is pretty clean. There was a bit of separation from the middle of the pack at the start but nothing to be concerned about. Lap 2 the #14 Ferrari 458 Italia of ROSCOEpCOTRAIN creates an avoidable incident by hitting the #5 Jaguar RSR XKR GT of vV Science Vv not only once but twice. Penalty assessed. No other penalties to be assessed. There was a GREAT 4 and 5 way battle going on in this room from lap 6 on! Great watching the Jag's battle the BMW's battle the Ferrari and the Lotus..Good close racing.

E Room - Good clean start. There were some great battles throughout the field. A little touch here and there but nothing beyond the normal contact of racing.

PENALTIES ASSESSED -

#35 McLaren MP4-12C of Blahzay xxl - 1st Offense - Probation 45 second time penalty. (assesed next race)

#14 Ferrari 458 Italia ROSCOEpCOTRAIN - 1st Offense - Probation 45 second time penalty. (assesed next race)
