Season 7 race 9 40 Laps of Nurburgring GP Circuit

June 17th 5PM PST - Nurburg, Germany

Racing and danger once went hand in hand. Now Forza Sports Car Series and premier sports car racing go hand in hand. For the second time the FSCS races the challenging and thrilling GP circuit. With so many technical corners and such a bumpy track it will be difficult for the racers to find that 'optimal' line and tune for this circuit. On corners like Hauf-Hook, a sharp right hander, Mercedes-Arena's long and complex curvature, Warsteiner Bend and the flat-out Advan Arch bend, along with all the elevation changes this is truly one of the great circuits of the world and nearly requires the same amount of bravery and finesse as it's big brother 'The Green Hell' to come out a winner.

QUALIFYING TIME WILL NO LONGER BE LENIENT! HAVE YOUR QUAL TIME DONE BY 1pm PST SUNDAY. Thats 4 days to get it done!
The last session will run at 1:00pm. Anyone who does not will be subject to Rule 4.1E

dont know if i can make race nor can i pre-race because my left stick on my controller is really annoying and making me like 5 seconds a lap slower as i turn it twitches and shakes on the screen and either gets me sideways or just messes up my turn, looks like im gonna need a new controller

i had to change controllers when my old one wouldn't turn one way LOL it turned fully one way and about 1/4 the other so that wasn't pretty

I really wouldnt be surprised if some of the faster GTC racers qualify ahead of some GT cars.

Actually this happened at every race except for Road Atlanta and Mugello.

Wow you guys must be hauling the mail. My fastest lap in the gt500 was a 2.06.488 and i thought that wasn't bad. I can run consistent 2.07 all day in practice. Now if i can do that in the race i will be happy. At mugello i was tired from my triathlon that day and couldn't focus. The next three races should be good for the gt500.

they aint bad times, you seem to be picking up pace pretty fast, do good this race and youll surprise a few people on this challenging track

since the homepage still isn't updated with a picture of me and my name saying winner, looks like i'm going to have to push hard this weekend to win again and make sure it's up there

Looks like pre-race number 1 for me....Father's Day takes a priority!

looks like I am going most likely going to be in the same lobby as you, I manage roughly that time as well

Feel pretty confident that i have a decent car for this weekend, hopefully i can have a good showing in my lotus.

I just qualifed Double Razor and he got the exact same time that I got (I qualifed earlier, so it wasnt in the same session). Thats 2 weeks in a row!

Im gonna have to prerace this track..

I will have a room up from about 9:30 - 10:00am PST. It will be up most of the time up until the close of qualifying.

If you both have the same Qualified times then Razor has to be ahead of you since he is leading in points.

I'm good. Roscoe got me qualified.

It is time for one of the most challenging tracks the Forza Sports Car Series Visits all season the Nurbrugring Grand Prix Circuit. This track is a tuners nightmare because you must account for the heavy bumps the car encounters under full acceleration and in the corners. This track is fast but you also need a car that handles the curves & the curbs well. Who will nail the tune then hammer it down during the race? Race day has arrived and the racers are ready to focus for 40 laps of intense racing!
