Season 8 Race 1 Sebring International Raceway 50 Laps

Was pretty spread out in B room after the first few laps.

What happened to ya Brad? I was like 800ft behind you the whole race then caught and passed you with 4 left?

Would like to give a shoutout to oldfenderbender for keeping me on my toes throughout the entire 50 laps. Great start to the first race of the season and can definitely see some rivalries already forming

That was some good racing fellas. Very close between BlackHawk S61 and Kamikaze
O351 and me were close too. The Audi gots the handling while the Porsche may as well be a Jet Fuelled car on the straights.

Started at 8th position in the last room, finished in 9th. I'm not sure how you guys are so fast, but my fastest lap was 2:19ish, and that wasn't happening very often.

Good thing I pre-raced otherwise I would've been out due to a power outage

Had an awesome time in my first race with this league. There are some crazy fast people here considering the average qualifying time for GTC went from 2:15.9 last season to 2:13.8 this season.

Some great racing in Basicblaq's lobby! And if I learned anything it's that Cadillacs (yes more than one) are very graceful when they fly through the air and land on their roofs.

Wheel crapped out on lap 26. Wheel is being sold...anybody want a fanatec csr elite?

Going back to a modded controller....never been crashed into a wall by a controller!!

Oh well, onto the alps!

i had a ton of fun racing in basicblaq's lobby, had some rather comidical commentary at times and was an overall great experience!! See you all in the Alps!

Great race tonight in A lobby. I almost gave it away with 2 laps to go but I finally got my first win! Great race RAFT No Brakes.

Yes but why did it crap out? Do wheels often crap out as so? I want to get a csr (elite is too pricey) but im curious as to this crap out issue since i have heard of it a little too much.

After a disciplined 30 laps or so, and moving up 2 positions, Luango finally caught me (nice job) and I made room for him to pass on the inside, and then settled in about 30ft behind him on the pit straight. Next thing I know he was on my roof due to some phantom lag...100% damage race over. Hopefully he survived. Racing sure has a love/hate relationship.

I was running quick early on. Moved up to 4th in B room. Around lap 16-17 my controller stuck and my car went into the wall. I reset it and got back into the race with slight damage. I was back in last. I quickly got back into my groove and started closing the gap. After a flip by Sam and a spin by Pseudo I moved to catch Speed Demon. 25 laps of chasing and all of the sudden on lap 47 my controller sticks again. I end up going into the pits because of it and finish last in B room.

I'll be sorting this out by the next race but to say I was not happy would be an understatement.

Here i was worried i was going to flip since im in a porsche with a stiff suspension but then i see these caddies flipped. I breathed a sigh of relief that i was able to complete my first race. The alps is not one of my favorite courses. but hockenheim is

i had a good race with Kamikaze but i have no idea who won our small battle because Kamikaze finished in front of me but the the times said i finished in front of him , what ever the outcome it was still a good race

You forgot that oz to was wrecked out as well wit this then I was magically passed right tru by an Audi r8 ^^^^ (blackhawk) like they had ghost on and the car was further destroyed four pits later and 40 laps in the books i was done

yes...sorry OZ forgot to mention that. I tried to quit out before you came through but couldnt make it in time.

I saw lag everywhere, I got lag hit twice that race. First time on lap 2 where I asked for a restart but didn't get it then the second major time lap 4 or 5 where I almost got completely totaled out. This is ridiculous, its not fun practicing all week only to get lag wrecked and not even get a fighting chance to compete legitly

Sounds like people got to experience the Sebring pit wall glitch... ouch. I guess when a person hugs the wall and there is a person close behind, the car in front lags straight backwards... the way I've avoided it is to not directly follow going across the start straight. I even saw Gambit's car lag a bit when he hugged the pit wall.

My race was kind of ruined by my lack of consistency. I knew I had to push to stay with Gambit and at first I kept him relatively close, but then I had a few laps that were way off the pace and I lost him. After that I didn't push as hard and settled in. Nearly flipped going through the fast double left after Tower, had it grind on the side skirts, kept going... I doubt the replay went that far (Lap 45) but it sure would be a great clip if it did.
