Season 2 Race 2 Maple Valley

Sounds like you guys had an exciting race. Sorry I couldn't make it, had a few things I had to take care of but I'll be back down at school the middle of this week so I shouldn't have any problems making the races from here on out!

Well, I am happy he made the race and yes he did beat me. But remember, I had a steering wheel some how decide to go into pause mode during the race causing me to smash the wall at full tilt on the back straight giving me 100% damage on all four sides and he ONLY beat me by 2 seconds. I went from running 1:24 laps to 1:29 laps after the crash. If not for the crash I could have been in the fight for second place.

BTW, I was just unhappy that he missed the first race and as far as I could tell he didn't practice much. He never joined the rooms when we were practicing when I would invite. So I was a little disappointed in his lack of "team" effort.

Also, it's not the size of your car...I flipped my car there in practice, CCB METAL flipped his car there in practice, Gdub369 flipped...My point is moi ya gotta stay off the curbs..but you knew that already!

Ya the wheels some times like to have phantom button pushing.

i can vouch if predator wouldn't have put his car in the wall, i don't think i would have been able to keep my car from flipping in the corkscrew. after everyone in our room hit a wall or wrecked or something, i just slowed my pace down cuz why push it if you don't have to, i wasn't going to catch gdub because i got early damage on my car from a little rubbing

i will say though watching the 3rd place battle was pretty cool from my front row seat

Lets just say those using a certain wheel had mechanical difficulties. But after wrecking on lap 18 I held tough and finished a respectable 11th overall. I was pulling about 1.30.500's with 100% front, rear and side damage.

Next week I may use the controller we'll see.

Great race though on a fairly unpredictable track

Btw sean, wanna make a team rossion with me? and pred, i wasn't too serious about you being beaten by cantuone lol, i don't want start some fight between you both. As for my comments, i didn't see the entire race so i based them only on the results.

Yes, if you do create a team your cars must have similar paint schemes. (see examples of other teams)

does it honestly matter, seriously i think its 8.4 L but never the less its huge so who cares?

It has been fixed. My mistake on the big 8.4 liter V10! I never even paid attention. That is a huge motor! Damn. But, just to say the Ferrari has a 4.5 liter V8 that puts out nearly the same HP. Italian Tech vs. American Muscle

Viper- 8.4 liter V10 600HP & 560lb/ft torque
Italia- 4.5 liter V8 570HP & 400lb/ft torque

Just found out that Oakley did some design Queues for the 458! How appropriate. I may have to do a lil something with my paint livery.

They copied my design.

Very true on the motor tech, but I must say that it should help reliability in endurance races since it doesn't have to rev as high to make that horsepower...look at the Ford GT40 back in the 60's when it raced Ferrari. (I'm not trying to start any american vs. foreign debate, I love my exotics, born and raised on bimmers...I'm just beginning to fully appreciate american grunt, especially since they are finally doing it right (c6 vettes and 4th gen vipers)) And that Oakley Ferrari looks bad ass!!!

oh and i would take a viper over a ferrari any day of the week and if u wanna talk horse power per liter the viper makes 72 hp per liter, the ferrari makes 127 hp per liter, and my 10,000$ honda s2000 produces 240hp with a 2 liter, 120hp per liter, i couldnt even buy a set of ferrari wheels for that!

you see down here in the south we think bigger is better that is why we roll 30"s on the chevrolet's with 15's in the trunk and a big block chevrolet under the hood a ferrari is just not my style
