If you had read the rules fully you would see it listed there |

| It was really looking like a good race in GS until all but 4 drivers went into their own acid trip lol jk. Still a much better finish for me than at atl. I'm looking forward to the alps. Hope to see everyone during practice. | |

If you had read the rules fully you would see it listed there Yeah, not blaming anything or anyone on it, but at the same time with so many rules it's easy to overlook the more obscure ones. In every series I've ever been in a lag out is a lag out. Whether it's a split room lag out or whatever, I can't recall a series that would allow you to finish the race outside of the race. It's a good rule, but not too common is all I'm saying. I promise to keep racing (alone) next time.

I think lap 15 is beyond a reasonable lap! If it would have happend maybe lap 2 or 3 maybe. MAYBE. but that's not one that would be easy to work out. We would have to try and contact each racer and try to get them back. Notifications may be off and they still racing in their own room. meh...can't make a rule or provision for every unexpected event. I have tried to handle it according to the rules and fairly. The key I like to point out is its a 'Points' series. Long season so although a race or two can hurt it cannot be overcome. Your problem this week could be someone else's next week. Never Quit. (My Life motto) Quitters NEVER win. Winners NEVER Quit.

| lol i knwo that lap 15 is beyond reasonable, but what i meant was more of like a "if half or more of the lobby lags out at once then BLANK will happen instead of this or that" maybe not a restart but perhaps a "lag bomb" clause... | |

| We could just attribute a lag bomb to something that happens in real racing that can't happen in sim racing. hmmm, lets say car A blew his motor and spewed oil all down the track and into a turn. All the cars that lagged out hit that oil before the oil/debris flag was flown and crashed into one another or the wall. ( I have seen it happen in real races) Doesn't happen often at all. Neither does the lag bomb Those racers who lagged into their own room and finish will go by the lag rule of time penalty, those who don't...well their cars were totaled after they hit the wall or another car and couldn't continue the race. | |

Doesn't happen often at all. Neither does the lag bomb That's what I was going to suggest as a real world scenario. Happened either last season or the year before in the BTCC at Brands Hatch

| So the people that split out aren't getting the full 34/35second penalty?
Congrats to the winners, and pretty amazing that the HC only moved up 4 places for GS. Even with the room split the field was quite stable.

Congrats to the winners, and pretty amazing that the HC only moved up 4 places for GS. Even with the room split the field was quite stable. The penalty was a uniform 1 second per lap which = 23 seconds. (just equated it to everyone lagging out on lap 17) Since it was most of the room I did not feel the extra 15 seconds was warranted since those who did not lag out had so few to really race against. Where usually it's only 1 person lags out and the 15 others are still fighting traffic and one another.

50-17=33 LOL SOON as I saw that I was like ummm really. I must have had way too many numbers going off in my head. Good thing that the extra 10 for those who lagged out in GT it has no affect on the final finish...Nor does it in GS. But that is why I have you guys to help me sometimes. I may miss something once in a while. Not often but it can happen. Thanks

| I'm rather glad that our room was free of such, events. Especially with that, going from actually racing, to suddenly, 33 laps of hot lapping... I think I'd get a bit bored, even if I knew what was at stake.
Twas a good race, and congrats to everyone who did well.
