Season 11 Race 4 BERNESE ALPS

got nailed going into the first corner by someone who had no idea where their braking point was there. It was made even more apparent when a few laps later as i was gaining on them after getting hit by them they slammed the brakes wayyyy early for that corner so in my surprise i slammed the brakes and tried to avoid and failed. You got to know where to brake people, cant go into a corner and brake 50 feet different every time because the guy behind you will hit you. Crap race.

Had no one to race with, so did "C Lobby" with the AI cars.  I better not get a pre-race penalty for doing so, as having to race the AI idiots is punishment enough.  AI is good enough for A600 class cars, but at the GTR/GT speeds, they are simply too dangerous and unpredictable.  Was doing pretty well, running consistent 1:40s, and starting to turn high 1:39s, when I came up on the back of the GT field on lap 18 and the last car unexpectedly braked hard right after those double AUTO signs coming up the Slalom section and had contact - taking 25-40% damage on front and sides.  Could not break 1:41 after that, and was constantly hindered by the AI GT cars the rest of the way.  Apparently, they were all braking hard at that same point, which killed my ability to fly through there as I normally would.  Sucks.....

Text book win with a car too well suited for the track.  I think this Viper should be bumped to GTR.  It would be a better fit for that class I think.  Instead of being the odd car out as a handling  beast, in GTR it might end up more of a speed car, or just better balanced within the class.

My race was simple with a record breaking pole time.  Just take it easy, get into a rhythm, and slowly drop the lap times without taking any chances and becoming a guard rail ornament.  And that's about how it went from start to finish.  Pred tried to stay within eye shot, but I soon faded out of sight.

I'll be lucky to podium any of the remaining tracks. lol

its all good i guess. I ran decent in the class that counts the most to me.

LOL @ GTDon.  I for some reason never hit my stride tonight in GT. I could run mid to high 1:38's but I never hit within .3 of my qual time ...Hell I didn't even hit the 1:38.2 I hit practicing just moments before the race?!  WTF  I think I coulda given you a better fight than I did.  But that's racing.  The season is still young. Many more battles to fight!  

It was a good race. I touched no walls at all. Well, on lap 45 I grazed the wall just as you begin to head down the long hill. Just scraped some paint off and didn't damage anything.  

Great job to my Predatory Racing Teammates in GT who all made it to A room and special thumbs up to hannibaljazz98 for getting the final spot on the podium with a third place finish!    Great job!

Lukemad9999 rounded off the top 5 taking 5th.  A great weekend for Predatory Racing 2nd, 3rd & 5th.

My ST team Extreme Speed Racing is strugglin a lil bit!

Would have been a bit better but we got the Alps plague. I was running pretty good up until that mix up. Mannn i cant get over how long that crash felt like it took.

That was very good race with speed racer and i from 2 from 39 that is two time i got podium with my teammates thanks

I won spec, unless I got a penalty I am unaware of? I'm going to review my copy of the replay because I only remember running wide at the left hander after the tunnel once, which is not penalty worthy.

Pred one thing I will say you should Definetly do live commentary again sometime it was brilliant in a lobby GS/CT

Yes, but, he still would be ahead of the other two who DNF'd before he did.  I know he didn't DNF, but had he, he would have been the last of the DNF's as recorded by the game lobby screen. 

The earliest DNF's are recorded in sequential order from the bottom of the screen up. Which means Posi would have been either the latest to DNF, (5th) or the last place finisher (5th). Either way you look at it, it is the same 5th place finishing order for him.

K, with the added 20s I would be 3rd not 4th. My time ended in .06 not .66

That looks like 47:47.667 or 47:47.867 or 47:47.067. But that last two numbers look pretty much like 67.

Having a look at the original picture it looks like it could be 57 too,
