Season 6 Race 7 Hockenheimring 50 Laps

Holy crap!!! Was this Bristol??? Wow with all the penalties! BTW, TyrannicCymbals is in an Audi, right? How in the heck were there solo many incidents on such a long, wide course? Well hell, I got f&"@ed up to pre-racing!

Not sure about Tyrannic and me. I felt the hit but he said something about lagg. I am sure you looked into it. He said he thought I lagged into him. I have not looked at the review.

OK on a serious not are flipping kidding me. you get a warning for touching some one and causing damage. that's a joke this whole series is Turing into a joke have the time. I get nailed for hitting a car that was lagging all over. Oh and by the way he was already damaged. But if we watch the replay all together, who in the right mind break checks in that corner? and lets see i was not on the throttle, and if we look at the time frame i could not move out of the way. we can say brake points all we want how ever i did not miss one there was not one there.

And normally i would not care how ever admin you must be blind or something because if you look in lap 22 to 24 after i passed OZ Da Ruler he rammed me so hard you porn site girl friend could feel it. but i see no deductions and how about two weeks ago when i was slammed in a turn from some one missing a breaking line on Road America and nothing was done. so as you can see im a bit pissed on this i have not hit any body in any of these races yet every one gets a warning or the well there rookies excuses how ever i hit some one and its ten points.

Admin, Meyervw is right. I was coming to that corner and saw all those cars congested and possibly lagging. I was cautious on entry and was taking the outside, had too much speed, and went off SLIGHTLY. I hit the throttle nice and easy and at that point no one was in front of me. Not even out of the corner, barely at maybe 30, Meyervw's Pagani lagged on my screen randomly appearing RIGHT in front of my Audi, RIGHT at my nose. That stopped my Audi instantly, destroyed my front, left and right aero(100%), destroyed 50% of my rear aero, damaged my steering, suspension and I think my gearbox. I completely agree to half points for this race, even though the lag out completely pisses me off, but I only finished just over half so nothing I can do. What I don't agree with is the points penalty for "unavoidable contact" that WASN'T AVOIDABLE DUE TO A CAR LAGGING IN FRONT OF MINE AND STOPPING IT COLD. That is not how I race. I may get into someone accidentally sometimes(ie DWilkerson - Road America, sorry DWilk), but I avoid getting into people and in their way as much as I can. Lag was a factor in that room. Zambo's Mclaren lagged into my path as well. Lag needs to be considered because it was the exact reason why I hit those cars. I would not do that otherwise! I appeal the ruling!

Jeckel if you feel its a joke there is a door. We have rules that must be enforced. I can't catch everything and I don't expect to. Two different replays and I saw no lag on any of those incidents that were penalized. The incidents where I saw lag there was no penaly given. I am not here to win a popularity contest I am here to insure the racing is as clean and competitive as possible. No one likes a penalty in any sport. But the wrong type of complaint can get you further penalty or suspension. Happens all the time in other sports.

As Admin I will be busy testing each car that will be available for Season 7. That's gonna take a month or so in between other series related duties.

Tuesday was a different kind of mood for this holiday season in the FSCS team shops. Many penalties and fines were handed down in the biggest one day notice in season 6. One driver of Lizard Nation, Jeckle, took immediate action by addressing the media in response to these infractions being announced with a more PG-13 view of the situation.

Series director, Admin, did address the public today in response to the berate toward the officials and the penalties that were handed down on Tuesday. The director is giving the Ruf driver the opportunity to 'clarify' his comments before further action will be taken, if any.

After many weeks of Xman sounding off, it had been quiet since Infineon. Now that the microphone has been passed from SC Racing to the Lizard Nation, will the team driver retract his statements and move forward, or could further action still be in the near future?

As this story develops, we will update accordingly.

I must say, I am disappointed with the way some of our competitors handle themselves on our forums. Don't get me wrong, I am all for challenging the current state of things, especially if you feel you have been wronged. However there is a right and a wrong way to go about it, and I think we have gotten off track. Show some respect for your competitors, and for yourself for that matter. Address the situation as an adult, and contribute something meaningful to the forum and the series. These childish, plea for attention rants we have seen on the forums don't do anyone any good, and quite frankly have got to go.

I think we all joined this series, and other series', to get out of the public lobby racing atmosphere. Where 13 year old kids think its funny to wreak havoc and talk about your mother. It is sad to see that type of attitude making its way into our forums. I am sure that this post will only incite further cries for attention. But, I hope we can all take a step back and use this break to reflect on the positives and negatives of the first half of the season, and SHUT THE HELL UP AND RACE in the second half.

Snowman, I think you were the only one so far that has taken the penalty and not complained! LOL.

I have seen some replays, too. There could have been SOOOOO many more penalties than what were given. I spent an hour last night JUST IN THE B ROOM! So, Merry Christmas to those who did not get big penalties!

However, one penalty that I SAW that may have been a little much was to Razor. Yes, he did do some damage to the Lotus. BUT, the amount of damage done changed on everyone's screen. Some said 12%, some said 40%. I watched Basic's car after the hit and he still blew back up through the field. He had another incident later on that may have done more damage and actually made it hard to drive after that. I think Razor should have just been warned. He did appear to try to go to the left before cliiping the rear. It appeared as if he DID try to avoid it. He was not turning right into the turn, in fact he actually continued straight and out of the driving line of others. I myself have never seen Razor do anything before or NOT try to avoid it. (I am petitioning for Razor's 30 seconds back! LOL! HOOK HIM UP!)

It is all fun and games in this game! Racing would not be fun without personalities. I am in Kurt Busch mode now. Blew up on my crew and crew chief, beat up the media and other drivers, now I am seeing a SPORTS PSYCHOLOGIST to resolve my anger management issues! I am going to turn into Jeremy Mayfield - Meth here I come! JOKING, JOKING guys!

You Lagged out, not Meyer. Are you sure that you did not lag into him? Just putting it out there, dont get mad at me. Could be legitimate, if you think about it. He was still in the room at the end and you were not.......

EDIT - Suggestion. You could be reallllly good in this series if you put more time into it. Less other games, more practice. You cant expect to be fast with only a few hours of practice. Your tuning takes that long. Then you have to learn braking lines, etc. Get in these practice rooms and learn how to drive around others. IT will do you a world of good. Practice, Practice, Practice!!! Get in there with us at night, man!

Insubordinate rant hmmmm i don't work for you or with you so there for no insubordination... and it was not malicious it was meant to go over bored and show how stupid this all is.... As for tact there was tact a lot of it in there, that rant could of gone side ways real fast but i held back. Not going to retract it, I got the the 10 points deducted not going to change but its going to be heard that I think its Crap..... if you don't like it OK but its what a lot of people in the series are thinking but wont say it. But to give penalties to every one but your self or to give guys penalties that have not done any thing all season and race clean then an accident happens you try to avoid but cant move over fast enough come one get off the high horse and be fair about it.

you gave your self a warning. come on that's hypocritical. so I am not taking back what i said i would say it to your face. you want the best racing be fair about it across the bored not in the first ten laps or when some one complains.

So with that how about some justice for the rear ending i took in the last race or is that going to keep push off for the second time?

Update - Wednesday 10:22 am

Earlier this morning, Lizard Nation driver, Jeckel responded to the statement from the FSCS Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. Still upset with the penalties, he was clear that all statements would stay as they were originally quoted. He was unavailable for comment by phone from France, where the team is already stationed for a 3 week layover of testing before the next race on January 8, 2012.

Also, calls to the FSCS Headquarters were not returned as of yet. It is 8:22 am in Nevada.

As this story continues to develop, we will update accordingly.

T-REX You are more then welcome to drive with us on nights we practice. I learn alot in these practice sessions and have gotten better at driving in traffic. if you have the time drop in on us and lets run some laps....o3

Not too worried about my penalty since it only cost me one spot. But who doesn't like post-race explanations after a wreck:

I think anyone that was in B room will tell you that God Foot had scary lag the whole time, which the replay probably doesn't do justice. I was stuck behind him and couldn't pass because I was too afraid to try it since he was all over the place. When I saw that he went off track I thought I was safe to go around. For a second I thought he was letting me go around. I called out that I was going on the right, assumed I was past him because I didn't see him beside me and then then he reappeared right before the kink, and BAM. My car's rear end was destroyed and I was sent into a spin, and he carried on with barely a scratch. I think running the rest of the race 5 seconds off of my pace was penalty enough.

I'm interested in seeing a replay to see how this could have been seen as unavoidable contact. But I was surprised to see my name on the list. Not asking for an appeal, because I know that you can't always see exactly what happened when lag is involved. Because of that, I think that the worst a person should get is a warning or probation when dealing with an accident with a lagger. Plus, I think that when I was rear-ended by a lagger and sent flying at Bernese Alps, I was told to take it as a mechanical failure(another time when my car was destroyed and the lagging car barely took any damage). The laggers seem to be immune from penalties because of the "mechanical failure" rule, as if it to say "They can't help it, they're lagging." That should also apply when someone makes contact with them.

***But the main point I'd like to make is when everybody is complaining about your lag and it's holding people up, please be courteous and let people go around you safely unless you have the speed to separate from them.
