It really depends how long the Daytona 500 runs until is the deciding factor if Ill even run ST next week

still 3rd not quite happy because i know i could have put up a fight for 1st but not bad anyways.

If you are watching the full Daytona 500, don't bet on making the ST race. I would even e slightly worried about making the GT race as well, depending on if there are any red flags.

I will be sitting out of ST to watch daytona and any other nascar race but i will still run all the GS races

I have never been able to really get into NASCAR. I will watch it from time to time if I happen to pass it while changing channels. I guess it's definitely more popular in the midwest and south than here on the west coast IMO.

But that's what DVR is for. Record and watch at your own leisure AND fast forward thru commercials. Best thing ever!

there are tons up here in CT, NY, Penn, NH etc. Got a lot of oval tracks around here too so thats what people are into.

Dover and richmond are both within 3 hours and bristol, martinsville and charlotte are probably all around 8hours away from me. But very few fans, atleast that i know and i work on cars and am around tons of car guys all the time lol

Team Points, and Manufacturer points this season are done by a third party who said he would have it all updated soon. The rest will be updated today/this evening.

by ovals i meant jsut small home grown ones you know, 3 paved ones in CT, all pretty nice.

Hard Chargers
The GT Hard Charger Award 2 point bonus is earned by VeteranOutlaw76 in the #25 Pagani Zonda C12 for Charging through the field from 20th to finish 11th gaining a hard charging 9 positions and missing a top 10 by only one!

The GS Hard Charger Award 2 point bonus is earned by No1 Tommy Smurf in the #190 Aston Martin V12 Vantage for Charging through the field from 8th to finish 2nd gaining a hard charging 6 positions!

The ST Hard Charger Award 2 point bonus is earned by SVT No Brakes in the #24 Ford Mustang GT RWD for Charging from 12th in the field to finish 4th gaining a Hard Charging 8 positions!

Race Recap and Incident Report

ST

ox FASTLANE xo: Lap 4 Turn 1 has avoidable contact rear ending the #64 Ford Mustang GT RWD of h4yes01 causing significant damage and loss of control. PENALTY 15 point deduction and 45 second time penalty. (second step of penalty)

GS

None noted. There was some light contact, side by side contact but nothing warranting a penalty.

GT

BLAHZAY xxl: Lap 6 Turn 4 in the #8 Saleen S7 has contact with the #00 Ascari KZ1R of BasicBlaq. The contact by replay appears that two racers were racing cleanly then as both were braking at the bottom of the hill BLAHZAY xxl stayed inside as he was under brakes and BasicBlaq on the outside while braking turned in and the contact was made. The damage shown is significantly more than by the review it should have been minor. It looks more like a light tap but thanks to Forza Physics sometimes getting it terribly wrong and over reacting causes the car to fling itself like the contact was major. (so minor a sound for the contact was not even created) This appears to be a racing incident between two racers and is under further review.

Raceboy77, brotha qualifying is one thing, your racing results are another. Put those two together in ST and you have been pretty untouchable force last couple of races.

I watch the videos on the store front, but where are the write ups?

my bad, consistency is good i guess. look at laptimes compared to others and they're quite similar except i'm able to stay consistent and throw them down all the time where other people struggle to :/. either way, as always i'll accept it since i expected it anyways and i'll see what i can make of it
