The final race to close out the ninth season of The Forza Sports Car Series brings us to the world’s toughest, most dangerous, and most demanding racecourse. The tortuous circuit gained its famous nickname, "die Grüne Hölle" ("the Green Hell") by legendary racer Jackie Stewart, due to the majority of the course twisting through a dense green forest where hellish corners abound. The intensely demanding Nürburgring was constructed in 1927 as a purpose-built safer alternative to the older races through the Eifel Mountains' treacherous roads. However, in the spirit of the older races, the northern loop ("Nordschleife") is a public toll road, open to anyone for a "touristenfahrten" session for a fee. It's plethora of turns (by one count 73) include hairpins, banked carousels, and the infamous "flugplatz" ("airport") bump where fast-moving cars often go airborne. The Nordschleife is considered by many manufacturers to be the ultimate test of their high-performance offerings, and the crown for fastest transit around the 'Ring passes from car to car as the companies compete for the title just as each season the racers of the FSCS battle for the title "King Of The Ring"! With this race being the final race of the season and a 'double points' event it is sure to present the drivers with the most challenging race they will have all year.

But for real, I am looking forward to this race. The car is dialed in and I am ready. This season a new king will be crowned.

So just for kicks, I drove the Caddy for a little last night and you would think it was a stunt show--I'm pretty sure I spent more time on 2 wheels than I did on 4.

That's pretty much how it is. I have done tons of laps so far and I still run two wheels probably a total of a minute and a half a lap. It is quite scary at times.

Yep. I noticed. No announcements from me just yet though... But he knows..GT Champion. As for teams...Nothing is clenched. There are 2 teams who can win it. Five teams can win it mathematically but it would be a stretch for a couple of em.

i saw and figured that, but regardless a championship is going to an Alpha driver.

I can not wait for this race! Love this track and had a couple little 3 lap runs last night with matt. This is going to be a great race. Lets do this!!!

+20 for wheel users in an unbiased opinion is a good idea. it is handles and feels nothing like a controller with FF

Survival. That is the key word for sunday and thats my goal. combine that with some luck and you never know. Cant wait for season 10 though, sad to see season 9 go but im glad its over lol

Shoot, no matter what happens at the 'Ring, I think it's been a really good season overall, even though we've all had some tough breaks. Everyone seemed to race clean and close for the most part.

I actually can't wait for this race since its my favorite track. I'm interested to see how much the extra length of this race adds to the endurance challenge, and how the race progresses without any GT cars, since I had to miss Road America.

You can do great here if you pace yourself and just keep it in one piece. This race *really* feel like an endurance race because its a lot more taxing than the other tracks. You had a great season though Duty. Congrats on Rookie of the Season in GS btw. You clinched it i think. Infact you have more points than *any* rookie in the series in any class. Good Job.
