As the championship battle froths to a boil we enter the final few races of the tenth season of Forza Sports Car Series. Leaving the United States historical Indianapolis Motor Speedway to travel to Mugello, Italy to the flowing curves and elevation changes of Mugello Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello. What used to be the home test track to Ferrari Scuderia F1 team and now the occasional test track for many of their new production cars you can expect a track that is not only fast but demands everything from the cars ...speed, handling, braking, and balance. With such names as Schumacher, Zanardi, Daly to have driven here history is sure to be made!

Will be Pre-racing this week (going to see Black Sabbath on Sun night \m/  \m/ ), most likely around 9pm EDT Sat night.  If anyone else in GS or GT has to and would like to coordinate, let me know.

Is anybody pre-racing in ST. I would much rather skip this race than pre-race by myself again. (have another conflict with work)

This has been brought up before....

Mugello is not the home test track for Ferrari's F1 team.  Fiorano is. The current F1 regulations ban any track testing aside from the Winter tests at Jerez and Catalunya. All of that changes next year when testing returns to Formula 1

Mugello is about 123 km from Maranello.

Yes Ferrari does own Mugello but that is not where they test their F1 cars. Tests have been held there before but as far as I know there haven't been any this decade.

I guess I have to use WAS the test track for Ferrari F1. From what I do understand is that they do test many of their new production cars there still.

Is there any chance for a qualifying session this evening? I've been on call and working this weekend both days so now is my only chance. Tried to get with Pred. last night but work kept calling so I couldn't pull it off.

Is there anyone that i need to qaul tonight i will not make qaul tomorrow morning i work at 10 15 am will not make it in time i get home at 2 30pm

Looks like the GT Championship contending team Alpha Racing International is falling apart at the seams! With one of its premier drivers having a spectacularly poor race at Indianapolis it appears that driver may have lost heart and has not been heard of all week! This comes on the heels of the news that its star driver may soon run into scheduling conflicts...could this spell the end for Alpha Racing International?

I sent in your time, i just happened to do it as he was posting the results

It is not a current rule that if a time is submitted after the close of qual there are any consequences. There will be this evening a clear rule that if a time is not submitted by 12:40pm on race Sunday it is invalid and the same as not qualifying.

The late qualifiers have been re-gridded to their respective earned qualifying positions.
