At the moment I am unsure whether I will make this event. I will do my best but honestly I do not know. We are doing some remodeling at my cousins house, where I race, and at the moment the power is cut to that part of the house. Just depends on how much we can get done before race day. Not really sure if we will have the power hooked back up by then. Sorry to disappoint, though I'm sure to others this is good news.

Practice last night was great!!! Thanks to the grand puba of the ring I beat my .gs time by ten seconds in my st caddy...granted I barely broke 7:50 in my coupe

7:49.000 is what matt and piihb ran in their GS cars last season. You saying that you ran 7:40 in ST?

HAHA this guy thinks he's racebot! I say something is being miss interpreted. No way an ST Caddy can do 10 sec faster than a GS Caddy. You know I love you roscoe but double check your numbers.

That's crazy is all I can say. I couldn't imagine running any faster in an a class caddy than I do in mine. That thing must be flying in a straight line cause I know it won't hang a corner like a gs car. Not these corners anyways.

....well that's you bud my time the last two seasons in that car was Boo boo....

Fear makes people real quite.   I guess people feel like they can sneak up on the ring and surprise it...   Funny thing is that THEY are the ones who will be surprised when fender meets guardrail on lap 1!    SUUUUURPISE!

An observation I have noticed most of the two weeks during practice for the ring..
GT racer joins the room
GT racer crashes 1/3 of the way into the first lap
GT racer quits to the lobby.
Next Practice race starts
GT Racer hits wall less than two minutes in...
GT Racer quits to the lobby.
GT racer leaves the room.
GT racer goes off line.

The ring is > than you! (several racers you know who you are)

To be successful at the ring is not to be the absolute fastest.  You have to respect the Nordschleife because to not respect it is a big mistake.  Kinda like you gotta respect your boss. If you overstep your boundaries while in there presence and get outta line you lose your job. Overstep you boundaries here and you meet mr. guardrail. (and he is NOT flexible) So only push as hard as you can to stay within your own performance envelope.  There is no margin for overdriving here. It's called "The Green Hell" for a reason!

Wise words.  My practicing goal since I dialed-in my tune was to drive as slowly as possible around - meaning staying in 3rd or 4th most of the time, under control, and braking as little as possible.  When I do that, I am good, and have been turning excellent [for me] times.  When in a couple of the practice sessions I started worrying about "racing" the other drivers, I started messing up.  Thankfully, all the practicing has alerted me to where those "mess-ups" are likely to occur, and how to manage them for minimal loss of time and avoiding a wreck.  Keys for success on Sunday are staying calm, running your own race, and driving within yourself.  Definitely no substitute for practice on the 'Ring.

I think having "a lobby" gt race with the gs class is not a very good idea. I'm sure most of the gs drivers would agree

Well guys, looks like Im not making the race Sunday. I was looking forward to this one too. Oh well. I will keep an eye out and hopefully we can have some pictures uploaded. hint hint

As for Matthnt and Tachyon..Well they will start in front of you and in 17 laps I find it not possible for them to lap you nor do I think the GS guys will be on pace with the GT cars in the room. (well now that I think about it maaaaybe)

Ive been in some lobbies where GT guys arent running much faster than GS cars. But besides that each class is supposed to be in a lobby by itself. LSA (sorry to put you out there) is more than capable of hosting a room. If you look at previous seasons results some GS have been lapped by GS cars and I personally don't want any racer to deal with a GT AI car or a damaged Corvette from Man now dog. The possibility of a GT car hitting a gs car in this race is out of the question and that scenario shouldn't even be a consideration

+1 I was lapping people last season until lag towards the end demolished the lobby. Split classes here with an impatient GT driver could end races.

Less than 24 hours away. By this time Tomorrow The ST race and Championship will have been decided. The GS & GT race will be in the final laps and Championships soon to be decided and finalized. Who will be the KING of The Ring in all the classes.

I THINK a NEW Title will be handed out...

THE QUEEN of the ring will be given to the racer of each class who is the first to DNF.
