For the 1st time, the Forza Sports Car Series will extend America's greatest sports car race, The 6th annual Mobile 1 Two Hours of Sebring presented by Turn 10 Studios is extended into two races equaling a 4 hour event! No qualifying for this second event. The race will start in order of finishing position of the previous race at Sebring. Who will improve, who will fall? How close will it be?

so are you basing this on the actual race results or the series results. because I finished 16th place, ahead of Claude Frollo but he has more series points due to winning the hard charger award. But for some reason I'm in B lobby.

I will be pre-racing Thursday night if anyone else needs to do the same. I plan on setting up the lobby by 7:30pm EST and running a couple of 5 lap sprints to warm up. Message me via XBL if you want to join the race.

COLUMBIA,SC -- Rumors have been around lately that an agent was sent in search of offers for competitive factory cars after Jaguar's poor effort at fielding an equal car for the FSCS. The only team driving their KXR-S race cars was the three man team out of SC Racing in Columbia, SC. The team drivers were the ones that hired the agent to do some looking, after finishing near the bottom of the results at Sebring 1.

"No matter how much we tuned and practiced those cars, we just could not get any speed out of them on the straigtaways," said one of the teams rookies, XMan4299. "It was like we were driving a tank accelerating out of a turn. Halfway through, we were just pulling out of the racing line to allow the leaders to pass by."

XMan4299, who earlier this week got into a war of words with more than a few competitors, declined to comment on whether it was the start of a rivalry with those teams involved. "I said before that I was not going to speak on that matter further. I am not in his race this week, so I dont think there will be a problem," he stated.

The agent visited two manufacturers earlier this week, the camp out of Mosler Automotive in Riviera Beach, Florida and the Noble operation in Leicester, UK. Both brought offers to the table and were willing and ready to get their cars into the FSCS races as soon as the weekend, as both had cars prepared before the first race, with no team signing on.

"I tested the Mosler and wanted to get into it right now," CharlesSnelling, another SC Racing team member said after taking it for a test run on Tuesday afternoon. "That car handles like a race car should, with the proper power needed to be competitive."

XMan4299 did not attend the first session of testing as he was meeting with series officials after Monday's turn of events on the series website. He did get into the cars that night on a run to see if leaving the contract with Jaguar was a smart move.

"I got into both the cars, and although the Noble was a great machine, I have had my feel of European 'muscle' and am looking to stay right here in the United States. I am ready to jump ship right now and sign with Mosler," he stated after testing both cars. "Plus the headquarters is a short drive from our facilities, it would just make more sense."

Mosler Automotive, which had a contract signed with the team late Tuesday night, sent out the cars to be tuned and tested prior to Sunday's second Sebring race. The team has traveled to Sebring to get the cars shook out before then.

Team Sponsor Shell/Pennzoil has continued with the quiet CharlesSnelling and his #06 Mosler, highlighted by a new paint scheme to highlight their logos. Joining as an associate sponsor is Alpinestar, which manufacturers the race suits of CharlesSnelling and his team. The joint sponsorship of the outspoken XMan4299 may be broken as Team Realtree is under affiliate contract with team Jaguar. Sponsor McDonalds has stepped up and taken the spot.

"I understand Team Realtree's commitment to their contract with Jaguar. If they find a way to come back, it would be great. But I am not one to look at the could have's and might be's," XMan4299 responded after learning of the loss. "I have a great sponsor in McDonald's and will do my best this season to get them noticed on the track."

Oakley eyewear quickly signed on as an associate sponsor and Shell/Pennzoil has thrown their name on the #71 Mosler MT900S as well. The new look will debut on Sunday during Sebring part Duex.

There has been no comment from the Jaguar camp to the loss, nor was TyrannicCymbals available for comment, as the third team driver. He was not seen at either test or was he with the other two rookie drivers as they arrived in Florida.

I just want you to be aware pred that the Mosler is at 764 with only race tire upgrades on it and the Noble sits at 769 with race tires and full aero.

There will be no adjusting the Mosler down in PI.

You should've just headed up 77. I could have hooked you up with a Rock Hill special - A primered up civic with a body kit, drag wing, 20's, and flame decals from AutoZone. They seem to be a dime-a-dozen up here...

Truth be told though, the flame decals may have kicked it over the 665hp limit.

I started a little earlier than planned due to having to be at work early this morning.

WOW. With my new rewards I'm running 6 seconds a lap faster than I was before. (~+100 HP). Makes me a bit looser though, so should be interesting.

Not to be over critical or anything, but I just read the story on the front page and Sniper919 is driving a Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR not a Competition Coupe. Just wanted to point that out Great write up though, maybe one day my name will be in it lol
