Sonoma Raceway, formerly known as Sears Point Raceway and Infineon Raceway is a 2.52 miles (4.06 km) 12-turn road course located on the landform known as Sears Point in the southern Sonoma Mountains near Sonoma, California, USA. Born out of the ideas hatched in a Mexican restaurant in Northern California in the late 1960s, Infineon Raceway has grown from a quaint regional track to one of the largest and most respected motorsports destinations in North America. Close to the heart of California's Sonoma wine country, Infineon Raceway enjoys beautiful weather year-round, making it an ideal spot for the wide variety of racing that occurs on it's flowing but difficult corners—in fact, it's one of the most utilized courses in the world, with events being held nearly 340 days each year. The course is a complex series of twists and turns that go up and down the hills. This course was utilized by all competition through 1997. Most races, including the Grand Prix of Sonoma, use the full course. The course is noted for turns two and three, which are banked on the driver's right. This provides a challenge for the driver, as turn two would normally have the drivers moving to the left side of the track. For the racers of The Forza Sports Car Series the season has developed and the championship hunt is in full frothy battle. not sure if i will be racing. this storm is going to hit and my area has already been told to evacuate. i have to though as im a volunteer for the fire department. i will try my best to make to race but wont no for sure till tomorrow. if i dont make it have a great race guys.

Yeah, I know DWilk's up in that area too and that storm is looking pretty rough.

Hmmmmmmmm. Races have been postponed due to weather before. If the severe storm affects that many maybe that is something to consider.

I would probably be able to finish the race before the storm picks up but still, ill make it unless i have no power lol.

The storm won't be causing issues for me, I'll be just west of that mess. But I do have the majority of my family in PA/DE area that's not sitting well with me.

If you want to postpone don't wait until tomorrow to do it.

don't have time to quali, but I would like to take part in the race still

from the looks things should work out ok.

I won't be able to race tomorrow, I haven't had the money (Until today) to order the part I need to fix my Xbox. And it seems even anything over 'light showers' knocks out my power. So I likely wouldn't be able to race anyway. 99.99% Sure I'll make the 'Ring.

I will have a room up about 30 minutes after I log on.

By the looks of things, I will be out the rest of the season due to my new manager's inability to work out a schedule consistently. I'll be leaving for work in about an hour or two and next Sunday will probably be the same. If it shows that I'm on after two o'clock, my little brother's online since we both share the same LIVE profile. If y'all ask, "Why don't you put in a pre-race?" First of all, I didn't know that I had to work today until a few minutes ago and secondly, I don't want to put in a pre-race for Nurburgring. That is a race that I'd rather do with actual racers, not AI. So, yeah. I'm officially out for the season. I'll see y'all for Season 9. Go kick some ass out there!

I was going to, my brother borrowed $50 from, told me he'd pay me back the next day..... he never does. Made a little money Saturday so. I'll be hitting the track hard for season 9!

I will do a long race on GTR2 today to substitute.

My 2nd lap was a 37.6 and then when i put up that final lap of 37.1 i was down .8 after the first section. Who knows i might have something for you come race time lol.
