Mugello Circuit (Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello) is a race track in the Mugello region of Italy near Florence. Its length is 5.245 km (3.259 mi). It has 15 turns and a long straight. Like many other closed courses around the world, Mugello was constructed because racing on public roads in the region, held on and off since 1914, had become too dangerous to continue. In 1974, Mugello opened to become a safe and modern course for local events. The track is property of Scuderia Ferrari which uses it for Formula One testing. Mugello is characterized by an exceptionally long straight and many high-speed S-bends, such as the Casanova-Savelli downhill sequence and the quick Biondetti kinks near the final straight. Perhaps the most famous sections of the course are the Arrabiatta uphill right-handers, ferocious corners whose name in Italian means “angry.” Mugello is host to a number of races and series, notably the Forza Sports Car Series who has raced all but one season on the flowing track. Other series to race would be Mugello Grand Prix, F5000, F3000, and FIA GT racing, as well as several motorbikes series. However, the most important use of Mugello for owner Ferrari is for extensive testing of their newest production and competition cars, particularly their F1 cars.

I'm struggling here as of now, but if LSA can pull some good times in his corvette, I believe that mine can also with a little but more work. I honestly needed a break for a day to get some good sleep and work stuff done. I'll be pounding down some laps tonight if anyone would like to join.

I'll be look to practice some today. Need to improve on my time.

Track Report:

Late last night while most were asleep the number 54 Ferrari was seen turning a limited number of laps under the lights. Early in the 20 laps session the pit crew suggested a very minor change to the suspension after which PredatorUSMC went back out and smashed his previous qualifying time and track record. Unofficially. In a quick snippet interview he said, "I don't know if we have enough for the Vette's but if nothing else we will be in their mirrors waiting for the slightest mistake and we will be in position to pounce!" As he walked away he mumbled something about a robot racer?

Kinda surprised to say this but the pole lap for GS in an Exige from season 7 will be beat. Normally I refrain from posting this type of thing unless I know the time will fall but since I've already ran nearly a second up on that time. Just wow.

Yepper. Got myself a little goodbye present from someone on here and i cant say no to running it.

And i have seen a new guy run some ridiculous times. Im decent here and can run what you are eluding to. Im not so confident with my driving at this track though because i never raced here before except for once in a different league.

The caddys are not having fun around here. At least not with me behind the wheel. If you are smashing qualifying times then I'm way behind you. I'm struggling here to get within a second of it. Have fun up there. I'll hold down b lobby.
