SEASON 9 RACE 12 MUGELLO GT/GS 50 LAPS - ST 25 LAPS

It all looks incidental to me. However, I think if SVT No Brakes wasn't in such a rush to keep going after the initial contact/spin the other contact that involved another vehicle could have been avoided had he been a bit more patient to let things settle a sec.

I agree pred. Initial contact is simply racing. Could have been avoided but both cars were pushing hard. To me no foul. Then on second contact the Aston could have waited for the ferrari to finish the spin and then continued but instead swerved into the path of another racer. The vette looked to he going outside clear then the aston turns to pass the ferrari and the second collision happened. This one was due to impatience. But like stated earlier a hood view from a Chase car would show more.

I would call it a racing incident and I say I probably started the ball rolling on the incident considering I was the one who did the pass on ruptured duck on the straight (I was in the green V12 Vantage) and probably should have given ruptured duck more room which was a combination of me not having the same amount of traction as the ferrari on the exit and me not realising how close ruptured was to me during the corner (to be honest I thought I had the overtake done and dusted)

Ruptured duck did nothing wrong in my opinion he looked like he was trying to set himself up for an overtake on me through 2nd and 3rd corner but did not see SVT Motorsport trying to take that position as well and naturally the gap closed and then it was contact. (Ruptured Duck was innocent on his front)

On the SVT Motorsport front I will say it was slightly optimistic for SVT to try to pass the ferrari mid corner when the Ferrari is the better handling car (considering I needed the straight to get pass him and even then he was able to gain a fair bit in the corner) but I think most of us would have tried the same but it may have been advisable to have backed off and waited for the long straight as I did because of the Aston Martin's straight line advantage over the Ferrari (but this is after the incident) I would say SVT Motorsport should have backed off because the gap was shrinking, however in the heat of the moment not many people would back off so I would call it a race incident.

Race incident. I had a front row seat. Duck took a wide entrance to make a late apex exit to try to make a pass back on tommy and no brake took a tight line in and they met in the middle. I don't know how I didn't get collected in it. I had to order a new fire suit. Lol
