Season 8 Race 6 Road Atlanta 50 Laps

Ugh, that makes sick. Dropped into my own room (again!!!) on lap 37 while holding off Metal and trying to work my way back around LSA, and I feel confident that after I got by LSA I would have been able to catch back up to Pred since I would have had two rabid GM dogs making me push my car and myself.

AHR and especially myself will be hitting Le Mans extra hard. After all the disappointment I've had this season, I need a good result.

Reply to Preds text: I went into the pits when I did because you and me were starting to have a couple of close calls thanks to trying to work past the GTC cars without losing anytime to each other. I made a pretty crazy three wide move coming out of turn 7 when you came out of the pits trying to keep on your tail. (See picture) I fell back like I did because of the way I was passing a GTC I couldn't see my braking point right going into 10a, making me go into the dirt. It wasn't too bad though, and I recovered fast. We were setting up for one hell of a finish though, regardless if I would caught you or not. I'm just not very good without someone to chase/to chase me and that time penalty taking away all that work on the track, again, just make me sick. For the second time this season I was robbed of a good finish. But I'll keep pushing.

And just for good measure, I almost rolled the car. Twice.

Well b room was very interesting, first i must say great race but i feel the would have been less accidents if their was less chatter. At one point i had to take off my headset because i couldnt here some ppl as the past or o past them, then i thought i better put it on just in case.

is the next race old le mans or new (la sarthe)??

Well that was dumb, as of Monday the schedule still said we had an off week so once I noticed it changed I had to scramble to make time to qualify Friday night, did way more practice laps than usual and got third on the grid. Finally race time comes around, I get in the lobby but a ton of other people are conflicting with each other and somehow I end up dropping out and am never able to make it back in, apparently people lagged out anyways so it's really unfortunate for me that a bunch of bad connections and Forza servers being terrible ruined the season for me. I know I could have done a pre-race but the lobby already started and there are ZERO descriptions anywhere about how to set one up and what cars to include. I wasn't about to waste over an hour driving around a track in silence to possibly not have it count or be penalized even further.

Well that's cool I can see it now, no idea it was there and it's too late now anyways. I looked all over the rules a few times and went to a bunch of threads but never thought it would be under required reading, I looked at all that stuff at the beginning of the season.

Either way this really does kill my season, and I was also upset about the schedule change but that's not really anybody's fault, although seeing as how everything xbox live related sucked last night it kind of makes me wonder how well I might have done if the race was next weekend instead.

LMBO = Laughing my butt off or am i the retarded one? or did roscoe take it that extra racist step? 3. incidents happen guys. i raged after i t-boned Basic and ruined my race. but ill say right now i wasnt mad at him. i was mad at my luck, you know? everyone makes mistakes and if it happens well then it was just a bad time for it to happen take it and move on. 4. FacePalmer, your season isnt over, top 5 ( think?) get 3 points per position and its only the halfway point plus the Nordschliefe. (butchered that spelling) I think its very possible to keep with it despite the touch break, in fact i think that you guys in the top 5 are so far ahead of the next 5-10 that you could miss a race and it almost wouldnt drop you past 5th. my motto is to stay positive and things will always work out. on the other hand im very worried about pred's reaction, room b was a disaster since all the damage happened early everyone was loose for 45 laps.
